RE: How to Drink Wine +

I drink dandelion and burdock all the time. It's a "pop" "Soda" drink here in the Uk. Actually made from Dandelions and Burdock plants thumbs up It only becomes alcoholic when mixed with other ingredients grin

RE: How to Drink Wine +

Have you been to "Canals" lately?rolling on the floor laughing

RE: How to Drink Wine +

I have to drink wine as I brew my own laugh All my family are wine lovers, they love to have a glass or two at weekend to chill out after their weeks work and as it's so expensive here in the Uk, they rely on me brewing it. Plus it gives me something to do. Why should they pay £8 per bottle when I can brew 23 litres for £17, even though it does take 3 months to ferment. It needs to be perfect thumbs up

RE: My Taste In Music

Another one by Tinita. I used to sing this song many times at karaoke when I lived in Spain. I don´t know how you've come to the conclusion that you can "tell" a lot about people re their preferences in music/ or what they drink/eat etc.......
laugh dunno

RE: Anyone make their own hydroxychloraquine?

Nah! I couldn´t be azzed grin I do however love brewing my own home made wine. 23 litres at a time. I leave it to ferment for at least 3 months. Bottle it any sooner and it´s just not the same so you have to be patient and then you reap the benefits. A full bodied white or rosado wine, which are the two that I like as my family does thumbsup: Red wine is just too heavy for me Wine is a lot more expensive in the Uk than Spain, plus it gives me something to do along with tending to my garden which is now dormant during these winter months.

RE: Prince Andrew may be bailed out by the Queen

Our Queen hasn't bailed out Andrew. Much respect our Queen. It must have been a very difficult decision for her to strip her son of all his medals and his status. As a Mother, I'm in two minds of what I would do. The Queen must be in turmoil now. She's not a bit of a kid. Her role as Queen isn't as easy as people think. How many people would reject their son? under these circumstances? I feel so sorry for our Queen. She doesn't deserve all this...........She is 95 years old and reigned over the Uk for 69 years and I for one adore her. She has gone through thick and thin in her life. My Queen and God Bless Her......... heart beating

RE: Can Muslims drink alcohol like Muhammad did ......

Yes! Most Muslim men living in the Uk smoke and drink alcohol but their wives are prohibited to do so and that's a shame
crying

Keeping this "English

RE: Boris Johnson apologises for party during lock down

In all honesty. I don't think that we can blame Boris on the deaths of the people that died through Covid. I believe that he did what he could with this crisis, along with Spain and many other Countries. No one knew anything about this virus. Spain went on a "strict" lock down on 14th March 2020, 2 weeks before the Uk and then America followed. It was/is a virus that no one actually knows about and we still don't know about and so I don't think it's fair to blame Governments for this virus. I'm just angry that Boris broke the rules laid down by his Government and I now think that he should resign. I've had my two shots plus my booster shot which I'm so grateful for due to our Uk Government but I won't be taking anymore.

RE: Boris Johnson apologises for party during lock down

No they bloody don't. The only ones that support him are the ones that attended the parties rolling on the floor laughing Boris will be gone within a few days and good riddance to himbarf

RE: Boris Johnson apologises for party during lock down

Sorry doesn't cut it with most people of the Uk. He LIED just like Clinton did. Different circumstances but still LYING when they are supposedly to be setting a true honest Government.

What good as he done? Any Government would have done the same thing. Boris and his mates have "ridiculed" the Uk. I admit that I thought that Boris would be good for the Uk but not anymore. He should be hung, drawn and quartered for what he's done. People in the Uk locked down, couldn't see their family. Couldn't go to see their loved ones funerals etc.....Too much to mention it all. Whilst people in the Uk were on a strict lock down, there was Boris, living it up with garden parties, cheese and wine to go with it. Making a laughing stock of us poor people in the Uk that were stupid enough to follow HIS Government rules. What about the ordinary people that were FINED for flouting the rules? Will they get their money back? dunno
Funny how he cancelled his trip to Burnley in Lancashire today? Could it be that us Northeners would confront him? or maybe kick his balls into the middle of next week rolling on the floor laughing Boris needs to go and the sooner the better, along with the people that he stuck up for within his Government.

RE: Merry Christmas to all Orthodox people!

RE: Sinead O'Connor condemns Irish State

I don't think that anyone will ever be able to suss out a person's mind, whether a professional or not. 2 of my friends lost their sons due to suicide. They were both married with young children. Their families were devastated as there were no signs of any changes.
When I worked with EDT "Emergency Social Workers" on night duty. I received a call from the Police stating that a man in his late 60's early 70's had barricaded himself in the farmhouse that he'd rented for over 30 years. Worked the farm for all those years. The owner of the farm had given him notice to leave as he wanted to sell up. The man couldn't afford to buy him out so the farmer barricaded himself in the farmhouse and had a shotgun which he had a license for. He didn't intend to harm anyone but himself but he went quietly with the Police and Social Worker and was sectioned. He spent 2 months in Hospital where he was closely monitored. After those 2 months, he was allowed to go back to the farm as he was deemed fit after 2 months of monitoring and care and showed no signs of agitation or change in habit etc. He had the crisis nurses visiting him every day which was recorded but yet he still turned the shotgun on himselfcrying I will never forget this.

We can't keep blaming the NHS or whatever people call the Nursing profession. You can't handcuff a mentally ill patient to a member of staff 24/7. Forgive me for saying this but, if one of my son's or my daughter was admitted to Hospital re Mental Health then, I would stay there with them 24/7 as a mother. I wouldn't expect staff members to do a job that family members can't do. Then blame the NHS for something that a parent or other family members should do with the help of the NHS.

RE: NHS could lose 1000 staff over manditory vacs

Not nerve mikey. I, like many others are now realising what's actually going on. People believing their Governments and no, I'm not talking about politics, just regarding the vaccination. 1st one shot, then another and then a booster. I did this because I thought that I would be protected, just like millions of other people did, because we were frightened of the virus. Yes! I do believe it exists and yes I do believe that it has killed 1000's of people, I'm not doubting that. What I do doubt is our Government keep saying that we need to keep getting vaccinated against a virus that we really know nothing about plus, I've seen it 1st hand with my family and friends, some vaccinated and others that chose not to. That's what's made up my mind and my opinion on things now.

I don't know how to post a pic on here but my son sent me this today. It says

*Pfizer Loyalty Card*
Dose 1 Dose 2 Booster 1 Booster 2 Booster 3 Booster 4 Booster 5 Booster 6 Booster 7 Booster 8 "FREE PIZZA" rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Travel restrictions lifted

See how I spelt (Uk spelling) Tires "American spelling as opposed to Tyres Uk spelling. See, I'm becoming partly Americanized. Americanised tongue rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Travel restrictions lifted

Bogg off you rolling on the floor laughing The only road kill we have are cats, dogs, plus small wild animals/ birds et... nothing like your smelly skunks barf The 1st time I smelt one I was heaving my guts up. It lasted for about 4 miles down the road laugh Smelt like 1000 tires burning up and your vultures are like bloody dinosaurs. They're bigger than me, so I wouldn't argue with one grin tongue

RE: NHS could lose 1000 staff over manditory vacs

I've had both my shots plus my booster but I won't be having anymore shots/boosters. I've had members of my family contract the virus that haven't been vaccinated and they've been slightly ill and others that have been vaccinated that have been a lot worse. My next door neighbour who has had all 3 shots, contracted the virus last week, ok, she's in her late 60's but she is really ill. I am now of an opinion that we don't really know enough about these vaccines. I agree that we have done well to produce a vaccine after just 12/14 months and people "like me" were eager to get it as we thought it would stop us contracting it. Now it's a case of 1, then 2, then a booster, then another booster, how long will this go on for? pumping chemicals into us but yet we can still contract the virus
In the 80's, I worked in a hospital that had a TB Ward. I was told that if I didn't have my TB vaccination that I would lose my job. Way back then, you complied as you had no choice. Many people don't have a choice if they're allergic to certain things, as with the Covid Vax
I have my flu shot every year as I'm really ill with flu if I contract it if I don't but the flu shot has been going for donkey's years.
What about the Aids Virus way back in the 70's and 80's when we knew nothing about it but yet all those Dr's and Nurses were still treating those patients, not knowing if they could contract it through touching those patients but yet those Angels in my eyes still went to work to take care of those patients. It's about having a choice and not living in fear teddybear

RE: Travel restrictions lifted

I was wondering the same thing when I visit America for 90 days in Spring/Summer? I don't need accommodation or meals. They're already sorted grin I just have to remember NOT to take any food over with me, unless you declare it on the Customs Declaration Form. Then you're sent to Agriculture Dept in the Airport to have your baggage checked and it takes forever laugh

RE: Crucified

Happy New Year to you too cheers

RE: Crucified

@ Karl.....

I've calmed down now grin

RE: Crucified

snowlynx. This isn't worth arguing about. It was clear right from Ali's 1st post regarding "Was Jesus Crucified" that he just wanted to stir up trouble, acting like he's all innocent, just like he does with many of his threads but this one did wind me up, which I know I should have stayed clear of. I'm not sure of his intentions or why Ali does this? I did post a comment regarding the Moors and the Christians regarding Spain as I lived in Spain for over 15yrs and I enjoyed learning the History of Spain as I love our History of the Uk. I'll just avoid Ali's threads from now on as I find that he has a grudge against us Brits and Americans. I've been here as long as Ali has but not on the threads, just playing the games till adobe flash went.

I've asked Ali a couple of questions but he's never replied. I just got a post from someone that you've replied to. Oh! well, it's a good craic
handshake

RE: Can you feel the vibes of others on the internet forums?

RE: Crucified

You didn't post that earlier Ali. This is what you posted

"Jesus Christ is messenger of Allah" , Jesus is the symbol of peace , love and justice wave
Jesus is not a messenger of Allah. As a Christian, I will never recognise Allah in anyway shape of form but that's my choice just the same as you will never recognise Jesus, no matter how you try and sugar coat it.

So, when, where and by what means did Allah die then? and don't go looking in the Quan Book or on Google as you should know this off by heart like us Christians know about Jesus and God.

RE: Whitney Huston Versus Pavarotti....?

How can you compere these 2 voices? One a male and one a female rolling on the floor laughing Now these 2 are brilliant together. Both deceased now but so awesome.....bouquet Plus the fact that Brian May was in the videogrin I'd be his hedgehog anyday. Not explaining if people don't know laugh

A total classic...........

cheering banana head banger heart wings heart beating lips teddybear

RE: Crucified

I think that you got that the wrong way around Ali. Jesus is a messenger of Peace for God but definitely NOT a messenger for Allah.

So, do you think that all these atrocities in the name of allahu akbar are "justified"? asking for a friend............
