If that was meant for me then thanks. I don't use my mobile phone. I still use a computer which I love, much better for me than my mobile or tablet etc.. so I have a "big screen" to look at. I'm getting older and so I need a bigger screen "Beam me up Scottie"

Do you really care what people say about you on this site? Whether you get a thumbs up or down? To be honest. This thing about thumbs up or down has only been brought up within the last 12 months if my memory serves me correct. If it's been going on for longer then I wouldn't know as I'm oblivious to the thing. I always had a "recent" photo of me on this site until I learned. Now, I don't have a photo and always hide my profile when I log off as my profile states that I'm not looking but I still got stupid disgusting emails so I put a stop to it. That's just me, I've learned the hard way

I've only ever had this name here on this Site. I couldn't be arsed to change it. To me, in all honesty, I just can't see the point of changing it and I think it's a good one . This is "My" Nickname and I'm bloody well keeping it

Don't talk about drinking Pedro/Pete, you'll get slagged off. I only mentioned that I brewed my own wine and then I had the "3rd" degree Speaking of 3rd Degrees. You probably won't remember Cannon and Ball but Bobby Ball passed away in Blackpool Victoria Hospital in October 2020 due to covid

I still watch Cannon n Ball all the time. My 3 kids loved them

This just reminded me of another site which had a "Chat Room" so you could "speak" on your mic. Convo was about fast food places like Wendy's, McD's, Burger King, Taco Bell etc.. What the Uk had as regards to America. Some American guy said that he loved to eat at "Y's" As I'd never heard that before, I asked if it was a subsidiary to McDonalds. Needless to say, the whole room were pissing themselves laughing. My good mate in America whom I've visited many times "since this happened" privately messaged me to explain what it actually meant. We still laugh about it till this day

@ Tom's statement, It's actually called "A Big Girls Blouse" not pants I class my little dog Petal in the same class as me, we understand each other. It took time to train her just like I had to be trained to do my many jobs. I had many Carers working under me within the Social Services Department, It was a very difficult and stressful job but without their help and having a good relationship with them all, I couldn't have achieved my job without them. In fact, it was only through my carers and our good relationship that the service carried on running. My Carers were probably far more equal than me. My carers never let me down once. I made sure that they got paid overtime and other enhancements. Then I had the job of having to explain it all to my Team Leader. I just said that it was a case of getting the carers out to the clients or leaving them on there own and then if someone dies etc..it will fall back on You, not me.

I was the same a couple of years ago. They tried with the stick in my throat but I was just heaving my guts out, my eyes were streaming, stomach wrenching, not good at all, she eventually gave up. Nostrils, not a problem. I doubt that I'll get Flu as I do have my yearly shot although I still suffer from head colds which has nothing to do with Flu. I've had my 4 Covid shots, that was my choice to do so, before anyone moans about it. I've never had Covid but that doesn't say that I won't get it

I did absolutely nada,/nothing. I thought that my little puppy was gonna go mental over the fireworks but she still had her wee and business out on our communal field I'm happy if she's happy

I'm not sure why you have such hatred for the English? Are you just making these threads for attention because you've been ill? Ya know I've been suffering with my throat for over 3 years, yes, my own fault. I've just kept it to myself. I haven't sought medical advice, Again, my own fault for not doing so. I would just like to know why you seem to have much hatred for England and the Uk? I don't see threads where Brits are running down America. I'm saying this on an open thread because I would just like to know what your problem is between America and the Uk, not England, as you clearly still don't understand the differance between the Uk and England. I myself have been to America quite a few times over the years and I've realised that there are a lot of States there. I've tried to learn and memorised my visit's there. Why can't you do the same? You know, I don't know how long I have to live, We only have one life and we don't know how long that it will be for

Wales is a Country along with Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. I would much rather have England to rule England. Give Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland their own rule. Separate them all. Give them there own Countries. Give them their own Government's but when they fall down, don't come back to our English Government to bail you out. Scotland, Wales and N Ireland get free medical prescriptions, where as us English have to wait until we're 60 to get free prescriptions. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have had it so good for years that it's about time that us English and our Government started to think about English people and let Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland take care of themselves without keep taking grabbing our money from our English Government.

We know that the Scottish, Irish, and Welsh people dislike the English. That's a shame because people still bear " grudges" from many years ago. No one if "perfect in this life. These guys do it perfectly. And they didn't need "God" to do it for them............

This song always reminds me of New Years Eve. Watched this show all the time. This particular video was broadcast on New Years Eve probably early 80's but it's always stuck in my mind since watching it, when it get close to New Years Eve. Not a good sound or video but to me, it brings back many good memories . I'm not quite as old as those days but it sure does look like they had a good time

Sorry for posting this video but he's just so funny, plus he comes from my Home Town. He's just coming back to do some tours after being absent for 10 yrs. He's my favourite comedian along with Billy Connolly but their work is entirely different to each others.

I watch this often when I get a bit fed up. It always cheers me up no end

Our maiden name was "Seel" and so we all had to go swimming every saturday morning at the swimming baths and learn to swim by ourselves. My Dad always said "You've never heard of a Seel that can't swim I followed up as loved swimming. Got all my Preliminary and Advanced Badges whilst I was in Primary School and then entered all the contests when I was in Secondary School. I think me being a Piscean may have something to do with it. I still go swimming most weeks but it's no the same as snorkeling in the Med Sea. I really miss that
