I maybe getting older in my years but still hate to see the world as it's become now. I still have old values of when I was a kid which I passed on to my 3 children. My eldest "daughter" aged 44 just let's her 2 kids rule her. My eldest son aged 40 this November has 5 children and they do as he says, so polite and don't ask for anything. My youngest son aged 31 has no children. He's been with his partner for over 10yrs but I don't think that they want children. That's their choice.
As for devices! Yes! I understand where you're coming from but that's the way things are going now. I won't use my mobile phone for anything other than taking calls or on Viber. I use my computer all the time. I love my keyboard as it's so much easier and quicker for me to type with all my fingers rather than try and type on a tablet or a mobile phone plus no "predictive text" Give me my computer any day. Give me my mobile phone and I'll just stick it in one of my plant pots out side with the torch on like a solar light
Just live your life the best way that you can. You can't change the world and we will all end up like this one day
Nothing to do with anyone being a Conservative or a Labourist. I just made that word up They're just all in it for the money. They're all corrupt as we've seen a lot of it during this pandemic but what can we do about it? We can either worry about it all, all the time or just accept that this is what we have to live with now.
How would "you" change things as you are now? What can "you" do about it? You ask so many questions about peoples opinions. Yes! we all have opinions Lee but we can't do anything about it. What's the point in people arguing here in the threads re Politics when neither you or I can do anything about it.
That's my view on things to share. Oh! and by the way. This was the original song.........
It's no use trying to reason with "certain people" that are "hell bent" on their political views Just let it ride You or I will never change things. Whatever will be, will be
availabke? I knew what you meant "winks". Is the VPN the thing that looks like a white and orange thing they put in the road when doing road works? lol. I had that once but it took over my computer with all my documents and music, so I got rid.
I'm still watching "That's TV Lancashire" on my TV. A music night and it's just shown this
Anyone can go into a "Music Studio" these days and sing a song. You could be stone deaf but still come out sounding good with all the technology. Auto tune is a great thing if you don't have to sing "live".
My youngest son has just completed and achieved his Bachelors Honors Degree in Music and Network Security. He's 31 years old but he's worked bloody hard. Going to work and going to Uni at the same time. He mixes music and has done for a number of years. Like I said, anyone can go into a music studio now and can't sing for anyone but for the love of computers, they come out sounding bloody awesome
Mixing music and videos together takes a lot of time an effort.
My Mum wouldn't have known way back then she was dead when the song came out I never liked that song when it came out. Not so much the words, I just couldn't get into The Police or Sting not my forte.......
Going back many many years ago when my Mum was still alive. Even before this song and I was sill living at home. My Mum "God Bless Her" bought "light bulbs" on the cheap lol. We lived on a main road. My Mum put a green light bulb up on the landing, another one in each of the 3 bedrooms but then put a red one in the hallway My Dad came home from work in his clogs as always and said to my Mum," What's that bloody red light doing in the hall"? She had no idea, God Bless Her. She just bought different coloured bulbs on the cheap
