RE: ireland being independent.

I believe that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should be allowed to vote in a Referendum. The people themselves to vote with no intervention from any of their Governments whatsoever. If a certain Country decides that they want their Independance, then just give it to them but bearing in mind, once they gain their Independance, they have no "Comebacks on our English Government. They will have to form their own Government to run their own Counties. I think that this should happen and the sooner the better. The English are always being brought down re our Government, so vote to leave the Uk and get your own Government. Job done thumbs up

RE: A song for whomever..

This is for my 3 lovely friends that have passed away this year in Spain. Mickey who was my soul mate for 15 years. I told him to go back home to England but he was hell bent on spending his days in Spain, God Bless him, that happened in March, the Guardia had to break in to his apartment. My best friend's husband passed away aged 69 in July then I've just been told that another lovely friend's husband passed away this morning aged 66, he died within 2 weeks of being told that he had cancer. He didn't even live long enough to claim his "State Pension" crying No one knows how much time we have left. Life is too short to dwell on the past....I feel so sad for my friends that have lost their husbands at such a relatively young age.......

RE: Now everyone of us is made to suffer

Do you mean "Not" or "Now"?

RE: Freedom of speech

Tiger. Some people thrive on trying to wind people up. I was sick to death seeing a certain person's posts regarding Israel and Palestine. The same as his photos regarding King Charles and Jimmy Savile. It used to upset me at the time but then I realised that some people are just craving attention and they'll do anything to try and get it.

Our Queen will get the burial of which she so deserves and sod anyone that doesn't think so as they are irrelevant. God Bless our King Charles. I'm sure he will follow in his Mother's footsteps heart wings

R.I.P Your Majesty. You served us wellpurple heart

RE: Why are the Pyramids in Egypt

There's no reasoning with Galrads, it's blatantly obvious that he dislikes us Englanders for some reason. He still hasn't grasped the fact that England is only one Country within the Uk. Its very rare that I slag Americans off as I've only encountered lovely people whilst I've been there in real life. I still talk to a couple of Americans on the phone via Viber and WhastApp and it's so lovely. Non of this animosity. Its a shame really as I will defend my Country and the Uk on here, no matter what, so bring it on grin

RE: Why are the Pyramids in Egypt

Well Galrads wouldn't know that would he? as he's so obsessed with England and the Uk but can't tell the difference rolling on the floor laughing As some of us Brits would call him, a typical American/Italian thinks he's still in the Mafia. My friends know me and so they know that I'm not offending them.............bouquet

RE: Have you ever Thumbed A Ride ?

RE: Have you ever Thumbed A Ride ?

Done it a few times way back in the early 70's when I was a bit of a kid. The Cops/ Police would drive you home back then. I'm still adjusting to living back in the Uk at the moment. It's very Rural where I live but I still have a knife under my pillow. Something that I never had to do in Spain. People there looked out for you. When I used to go to America for 2 months, the people that I knew would say, " No problem Suzy, we take care of your Apartment" They made sure that I wasn't broken into. Right or wrong, I knew that I was protected.grin

RE: Dear Anonymous

CS knows everything grin

RE: Dear Anonymous

Your name reminds me of this song grin

RE: Why are the Pyramids in Egypt

Because Americans were too fat and lazy to even try laugh

RE: Why are the Pyramids in Egypt

That will go down in History. America buys London Bridge grin grin grin

RE: If You Want To Buy Something Expensive But Your Sure Your Partner Will Say No

Same with me. I don't depend on anyone bouquet

RE: If You Want To Buy Something Expensive But Your Sure Your Partner Will Say No

If it's something that I really want, then I would just get it if I could afford it. I'm glad that I'm on my own now and can chose what I want to do. I'm an Ebayer, I will go through everything on there to get the cheapest price for what I actually want at the same quality. I can spend hours on theregrin That's my "forte" When I was married, it was always a case of going for second best just because it was cheaper. I don't have to do that anymore. thank goodness. If I want something that I can't afford, then I'll wait and save up until I can afford it. The cheapest isn't always the best in the long run....bouquet
