I put my buddy out on the rope under the big hickory tree. Big bowl of fresh h2o and he's good for several hours, a lot of times well past dark. But he lives inside w/ me and the fish. There is also a fenced area that he goes out to off of the deck.
Leave one always tied up, I wouldn't but someone else? Maybe if they always go out and play with and love on the dog, MAYBE!
My neighbors had an Old English Sheepdog that they kept on a 10 or 12 ft cable attached to a 50 or 60 ft line under big oaks. But they never went out and talked to or played with him. He would howl the saddest woeful bay . I felt bad for him and would take him milkbones and scratchin's. I often thought about seeing if they'd let me adopt him. However he passed a couple months ago. He was 12yrs., I guess that's pretty old for a dog that big.

NOT BASHING, but you know never ceases to amaze me with all the WWJD out there, that people never wait for the one whom is without sin to cast the first stone before they start chucking their own stones.
Why would an all powerfull, all knowing deity(any religion applies here, I'm not singling any one out) need any puny human to do its dirty work(eliminating people).

Thanks for responding.Your lace cat, is that an African(Synodontis)? I have 2 S. ocellifer,
they are gray with big black dots on them. They're about7 or 8 inches.
I have a 200gal that I keep them in.
