I've taken a 60mi raft trip down the Colorado from Palisades(just E. of Grand Junction) to West Water, Utah in June (spring melt/runoff).
Twice!
And been down the Eleven Point(in canoe) in southern MO.(about 10mi north of Ark.) many times! I think it only has a couple category 3 rapids, that's a 35mi trip!
Both GREAT fun & cold like melted snow(the water)!! Camped along the way on both, just beautiful!!!!
Hey Kennn I have a 200 also, I keep it community for more action! It's a shame you had to sell your tanks, but they're hard to move & find space for in the new residence. Was you knife an Afican brown(with or without dorsal fin?) or did it have the spots on the tail area? That would be a clown knife & they get HUGE, like 2 or 3 feet! I've got a black ghost knife(these can get up to 19 inches) right now but I've had the brown africans with the dorsal fin(I think their common name is feather fin knife) & the ones without it. Also have had the chocolate ghost knife & glass knife too! I like the knifes, they're an interesting group of fishes, either from S.America or Africa!
Yes proper filtration, good aeration, & water changes keep them healthy & vibrant in their natural colors!
I used to have some firebelly toads I kept in a 75gallon vivarium! They were cool when they'd chirp in the mornings. At first I thought it was the sounds of the neighbors dog, muffled by the closed window.
This can also be useful with the currently living! Write it down on a piece of paper(ground the emotion, thus ridding/freeing yourself of it) & burn it! No need to deliver it, that may just perpetuate the hate in yourself which is self destructive, as already pointed out in several other good posts!!!
I've sometimes pondered the idea that the tears we cry, over the passing/loss of someone, are tears of guilt. Guilt for any failing or falling short of measure(of one's self) in our dealings/thoughts about the person recently freed, that we now must own up to or rather come face to face with!!??
I always give a thank you to the person when I learn of their getting free. Whether I, 'knew them' or just, 'knew of them'. If they were deemed a bad person, I still say a thanks for anything good they may have done in their life!
I find it hard to believe that everyone doesn't have some good, some bad in them, which ever end of that spectrum they live their lives closest to!
For the OP best of luck & condolences in this, your current quandary !
Errrrrrr!!!..... I'm REALLY sorry, but I just have to point this out!
Chemical free water is NO water at all! Everything(including us ) is made of chemicals! In fact we're not much more than a big sack of water & mega colonies of microbes & chemical chain reactions!!!!!
As bottled water goes, it's better than no water!!!
RE: What is the most hated religion in the world?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say probably the one that each individual hates the most!!!!All non haters are excluded & may go out & play & when you get back EXTRA ice cream for yous!!!!!
SHANTI
