The voices they called
from off in the distance
I walked toward them
without resistance

On my way there
I heard some say
it's time for you
to go to another place

Warriors like you
have no place anymore
you should give up the fight
and walk through this door

I couldn't help it
as if in a trance
they sapped my will
I was at their command

I could see oblivian
A force grabbed hold
from out of my chest
it tried to rip my soul

Like needles pearcing me
it ripped my skin
I dropped to my knees
and then struggled to get up again

I yelled, I won't let you take me
I have more left to do
you are a false vision
this can't be true

Struggling to stand
I knew I must rise
I had to fight with all my strength
If I hoped to survive

Then came a light
it pulled me back
it said don't worry Daniel
you are safe from their attack

Why I dreamt this
I do not know
but before it was over
I saw a rainbow
