IMO, In online 'dating', your partner wanting to keep everything under cover...quiet, not wanting to let the news out...red flag. Been there and eventually found out he was online 'dating' more than just me...quite a few...can you say player?
Another flag, profile stating they drink socially...It's been my experience that it actually meant regularly...
Listen to them talk. Are there any inconsistencies...if so-red flag.
I think I have a great life. Is it perfect...Absolutely not...not even close. But each and everyday, I'm grateful and very thankful for it and my loved ones.
I voted Tuesday also...but I've never voted a straight ticket of one political party or another. I base my votes, not on their party, but their platforms and whomever I think has the best qualifications.
I've read the thread, and these two posts stood out as best describing how I feel also.
I guess we've all had experiences where we thought we had found "the one", only to find out it wasn't the right time, or right person, or some other reason. Been there too...
Of course there's always that one we'll always have a special small place in our heart.
Hhhmmm...In the South, terms such as "Sweetie", "Honey", "Hun", etc... are common place. They're not meant to offend or to seem condescending...They are usually used in a friendly welcoming way...with no disrespect intended.
Willing...not exactly...but definitely capable. Would I? Yes if left no other alternative. If any of my family was threatened? Absolutely, and never bat an eye or second guess the decision.
I just came across this thread for the first time...wow...so sad. Z, I am so sorry for your loss...I can't imagine the pain at losing a child... I'm not sure I can put my feeling into words right now...except to say my heart goes out to you and your family. So sorry...such a terrible tragedy.
Does anyone cook anymore?I admit..I seem to eat out more than staying at home cooking. Im tired after a long work day.But it doesnt seem any more expensive..Does any agree?
Yep...I cook almost everyday and yes, it's definitely cheaper and healthier. I love cooking, but not the crap stuff that's already pre-made...bleh I love cooking healthy homemade foods for myself and my family. We also have lots of fresh fruits and veggies...or as much as I can get them to eat. It's something I prefer over greasy stuff from fast food restaurants. Every so often our family enjoys eating out at a nice restaurant, but I really prefer to eat at home - even after a long day. Plus, I KNOW how it was prepared, and what ingredients were used in it.
Yes, I -DO- believe it's possible...and I also -KNOW- it's not a situation you want to get involved in. Bad business... Unfortunately, you usually lose one or both of the ones you care about... Some good advice...don't even start. If you love someone, and you're happy together, don't let anything get to that point where you have to wonder if you have feelings for someone else...
