SSOOOO TRUE!!!A few years ago, Bon Jovi had a second wave of 'that' generation lusting over, "POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME"... My daughter couldn't BELIEVE I actually KNEW the words to that song.....
That same feeling came to me. I apparently am not 'HIP ENOUGH' to be familiar with the current slang that 20 something year olds use, daily...Very frustrating to not understand what your own child is trying to tell you!!!
still in my 3 month probationary period... I was joking, though. I actually find it very forward to be asked to cam-chat right away. Would rather email a bit and get a sense of familiarity, first.
This is actually comic relief. If you dare...try having an intellectual conversation about something more meaningful than opinions and armpits.
