Hi in answer to your post chances are without a picture you may not get many guy's checking your profile out .It would be the same as going on a blind date with a bag over your head ,and telling the guy to get to know you first. How upsetting would it be if he wasn't attracted to your looks .When I check out profiles I want to at least enjoy what I'm looking at .I'm sure there are a lot of super nice guy's out there , but if his belly is so big that I can't get close to kiss him .That's not what I'm looking for .I think it's hard to get to really know someone behind a closed door .It may not be the words in your profile , but if you posted your picture . You might get more responses. Good Luck

Hey farmerjoe I think you're right , the trouble is most men seem to think with their little heads and not the big one . A lot of mens profiles on the dating site lure a women to take a look , because of the picture they have posted , but when they check out the other pictures , the pic posted doesn't even look like the guy. Yes we are looking for that special person , but it would be nice if we could be at least honest in our profiles.
I think it's great, at least you can see who is looking . Maybe they might be a little shy in sending a message or flower .If I like what I see and read I just might send the message or flower .
