Stan global warming as HC and myself said earlier is bollicks and scare mongering by the very people at the top of the food chain who are getting richer & fatter by the day exploiting 'us plebs'..
Why wont the powers that be use the oil that can be extracted industrial hemp to power homes, run cars...fly A3880's...? Because they'll stop making profits from drilling holes in the ground. And what are they doing today...They're putting about another myth that mining for shale gas is good, safe and wont do the environment any short, medium or long term damage.
That's what I don't understand..Why do Gov's keep building towns, cities by the sea or on flood plains...?
A decent sized meteor or asteroid slamming into the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian oceans is more likely to happen and displace, kill people than the polar ice caps melting in our grand kids-kids life time...
A couple of the active volcano's erupting will cool the earth down very quickly.. Mount Helens made the world temp. drop by 2°'s for a while, ..two or three of them at once and the ice caps are back to "normal"..
And if people (NWO) were serious about "global warming" then they'd stop all burning of fossil fuel and harness the energy from the sun, use water turbines....
"Education is an essential element of the global response to climate change. It helps young people understand and address the impact of global warming, encourages changes in their attitudes and behaviour and helps them adapt to climate change-related trends"
The earths climate has been changing since inception. It wasn't that long ago in real terms palm trees where growing in whats now the north & south poles..(before the earths axis flipped)
As for global warming, all that is is scare tactics by the NWO to increase taxes...
Why don't we kill all cows...?
Cow Farts Have ‘Larger Greenhouse Gas Impact’ Than Previously Thought; Methane Pushes Climate Change
According to the new research, livestock’s noxious flatulence accounts for a large portion of the methane gas being released into the atmosphere. Researchers say cows are producing twice as much methane gas as scientists previously believed. The states producing the most methane gas were Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas – which also happen to have a lot of cows, oil and gas.
Snowy you are banned. It's not an O6C thread. It's about a political party having/encouraging an open, frank and honest debate on "pot" and it's benefits..
Northern Ireland The O6C is to have its first-ever party political broadcast by a party campaigning solely for reform of Britain’s drug laws on Thursday night.
The Cannabis Is Safer Than Alcohol party (Cista) has registered 32 candidates for the general election, including four in Northern Ireland the O6C, enough to qualify it for a five-minute slot on television there.
The four-and-a-half minute film airs on UTV and focuses on the medicinal qualities of cannabis, which patients say prevents seizures, relieves nausea and eases pain.
“These are qualities which can enhance my daily life and counter some of the effects of the pharmaceuticals which I am prescribed,” says Glenn Donnelly, a Cista candidate and one of the voices in the broadcast.
Cista’s chair, Paul Birch, who made millions from the sale of the social network Bebo and who has invested £100,000 in the party, said the party had decided to focus on the medical uses of cannabis because “we felt like it was the easiest thing to get through”.
Engineers and scientists will never make as much money as business executives. Now a rigorous mathematical proof has been developed that explains why this is true:
Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
Postulate 2: Time is Money.
As every engineer knows,
Work = Power * Time
Since Knowledge = Power, and Time = Money, we have:
Work = Knowledge * Money
Solving for Money, we get:
Work --------------- =Money Knowledge
Thus, as Knowledge decreases, Money increases, regardless of how much Work is done.
St George's Day 2015: 5 English things not actually English....
Fish & chips
The quintessential English fast food, what could be more English than picking up a portion from the chippie on a Friday? But fried fish was actually introduced into Britain by Jewish refugees from Portugal and Spain
A spot of polo
Is anything more English than rubbing shoulders with the high-rollers at a polo match at the height of summer? Yet English plantation owners actually learned polo from locals in the Indian state of Assam in the 19th century…
A nice cuppa tea
We all know the English love a good cuppa! A lot of people know that tea was first grown in China, which was then taken to India by the British. But did you know that the tea bag was accidently invented by a New York tea merchant? In the very early 1900s, Thomas Sullivan sent his customers samples of tea in silken bags. Rather than emptying the tea from the bag, some assumed they should be used in the same way as metal infusers and consequently, the tea bag was born
The good old pub
Long have the British population relished a pint in the local pub but it was after the arrival of the Romans, and the Roman road network, that inns began to appear where a passer-by could enjoy a refreshing beverage
...and Saint George
Believe it or not, even Saint George himself was born abroad! Although historians have argued the Roman’s soldiers place of birth for over a century, it is believed that that Saint George was born to a Greek Christian noble family in Syria…
RE: Global Climate Change
Stan it wasn't that long ago that everything you see today made from plastic was made by hemp.
