No that´s not true, be positive! I´ve seen policemen here, older, who are still hunky and gorgeous. I have a class of policemen. I have a strict policy, never date students.
Krimsa, as a new member, you obviously haven´t got to know MF yet, nor understand her eccentric style of posting.....and she won´t mind me saying that.
I do think you got the wrong end of the stick as MF clearly addressed the post which caused the spat to HL.

It is expensive. The best, but most difficult way to give up is cold turkey.
Most of my students are doctors, some ex-smokers, and all agree that willpower is the key. Nicotine replacement aids can be useful, but do not take away the addiction....many people return to smoking after months of patches and gum, the drug companies manufacturing these aids love that!
Champix often has nasty side effects and I know far more people for whom it has not worked in the long-term than the few it has.
I say this as an ex-smoker. I stopped after 30 years on 1st February, without any aids. Hell, and difficult, but I have come through the worst now and feel fabulous.
My aid was knowing that I would let everybody down if I failed, including myself, because I chose to tell everybody when I decided to stop. Of course having medical students, who actually never nagged me to stop, but were supportive, also proved to be a spur.
Please try, you will feel so much healthier, I can promise you.
I have to admit though, spelling or grammar errors bug me, but that´s because I´m an English teacher, also because I think that everybody should make a little effort in ensuring their profiles are written well. It´s not so difficult. If non-native English speakers can do it, everybody can.
Cliches are the worst though, however well written they are. Walks on the beach, cuddling on the sofa, sharing a bottle of wine......yuk!
Actually, mine has been criticised too, apparently I´m asking for Superman by one member. Obviously I don´t agree.
