Brilliant stuff Ambrose ,not you getting stung ,but the whole lovely story .
Ok so you see on my profile a wee hedgehog ? Well my dog is a demon for hunting them down and bringing them to my doorstep !
I try discourage her , but to no avail. So the other evening , camera in hand I waited for this baby hedgehog to unfurl . And snapped him .
He was so cute and placid . I was in awe.

To answer your OP . To the best of my ability I would save the critters .. I hate snakes , but wouldn't kill them either.
I think perhaps the animals run just as soon as they hear the bur of the lawn mower . So you might only get one or two . It can't be helped.
I don't know if it was revenge by mother nature but somebody up there like ya

Hi , this could be an interesting thread , however would you like to expand on your OP ? Cool if you don't.

To me , you can't make anyone love you and conversly they can't make you love them. In cases of unrequited love , it's best to move on and leave well enough alone . If one has good foundations in the "self esteem" department , then it doesn't have to crush or hurt.

You cannot make someone respect you either , and seeing that respect is a main componant in any type of relationship , if it is missing it is all the more improtant to walk . If someone doesn't respect you , again it doesn't have to crush or hurt , if strong self esteem (the good self esteem ) is present but, you still must move on and fast in case that there is erosion of it.

They are , absolutely . Like the majority of the threads don't warrent any thumbs up or down at all. The most innocuous statements get them there .

I don't think it would really . One of the times on here when I did a thread ,I got loads of red thumbs . I didn't mind ,nor did it put me off. Someone is up to devilment , alright , but at the end of the day , I stand by what I say ,red thumb or not.

No I don't know either , but I ignore it . People will always be people though . I think a lot read the forums without saying a word . They can't be bothered to interact ,their choice ,but maybe the green/red thumbs lets them have their say
