I was very fortunate to have purchased a charcoal on wood item once at a yard sale in Phila. Out of curiosity, I took it to an art dealer to see if it was worth anything, hearing rumors of outlandish discoveries by people at these sales.
Lo and behold..it was indeed a find!!! It was a self portrait of Bertrund Russell. Worth several thousand dollars!! I later started buying many charcaol on wood pieces. I find them "comforting" somehow
No Lass...I really don't care. I just want all this war crap to stop!! It's silly, trying to figure out who is the toughest guy on the block!! I have never seen peace in my lifetime, I want the craziness to stop!!
The U.S seems to be filled with a bunch of war mongers, who just want to control other gfovernments. Let it end, for crissakes!! It is sooo seldom that I don't hear an American find justification for war! Let's start justifying peace for a change!
Iran has a right to defend it's self against Israel. Just as Israel has the right to defend against Iran. They are enemies. Neither is our enemy....so leave them to fight it out. Iran is only our enemy because of our blind support of Israel. And that support is wrong, on so many levels.

and This is how we keep making excuses for Israel!! They want Iran to obey the U.N. but they feel they are above it. Drop out of the U.N. if you don't want to follow it's rules. Israel pushes for U.N. support when it is convienient. When it wants sanctions and action against Iran....but puts its self above her rules.
Sure, there is a major difference in the leadership of the two countries. But Israel still mjust obey the rules of the U.N. if it continues to be a member.
We coddle Israel! Why?? Israel has proven to worsen our plight for peace in the middle east. Israel doesn't want peace, except on it's terms. Why should they?? The greatest military force on the planet backs their every move. Turns a blind eye when Israel attacks Lebonon, Syria, and anyone else that Israel opposes.
It seems to me, the whole sticking point isn't Iran or the U.S.!! It's Israel!! If we would quit giving carte blanche to Israel, and quit turning our heads to all Israels terrorist activities, we would have better relations with the Arab world! Israel is a bully in all this...not Iran!

believe nothing that Bush tells us!! He hasn't told the truth once during his eight years. Remember all the proof that Sadam had WMD??? The same MAY be true with what he is telling us again.
