There are here there and everywhere, if you try to find a specific place to find nice people exclusively you might have a better chance of finding the Fountain of Youth.
I would put it this way. It can be very detrimental in the business world and even worse if you get involved romantically with a mean person. That said, if you seek the same traits in another for a romantic relationship, it can be very successful.
I think I am familiar with that stretch of road. Nowhere are the roads safe in NYC, but that stretch is particularly hazardous. Only a matter of time I think.
There you go, suppose a relationship is cordial and friendly within say a work environment. Then you meet outside of work on a more personal level and nobody knows what to say.
Right and that is sort of why I took the negative outlook on how it might go because of the original question. To arbitrarily pick someone you just see online might be more awkward than anything else despite your high opinion of them.

There is definitely a lot of success stories out there. I could just picture it though, you meet in person for the first time and it is hard to get past hi and how are you. LOL
It could have been worse, what if he did meet you and acted like a jerk the whole time. If someone is going to be inconsiderate, it is best you did not have to go out of your way. That is the way I look at it.
One good one is the River's Edge. About a clique of high schoolers dealing with a murder. It has a very dark humor surrounding a very interesting story.
