RE: Baby seal Killing

Well certainly more moral to kill a single chicken than a million whales if that helps! conversing

RE: Baby seal Killing

I agree 100% - and some men and some women should be culled too! grin

We could, however, do it democratically, and even via the internet!

Every day, after a nice cup of coffee and say three ciggies we could nominate who we should cull today. Got a pesky neighbour - nominate him or her to be culled........... such good fun and the bestest way to keep the population down.

Live on tv of course - makes fantastic viewing figures and the advertising revenue stays stratopheric!

Yup - never mind these religious and silly political threads - television deserves to rule again with the globally popular show:

"Cull thy neighbour"

applause

P.S. Can I take that all back, pretty please? I don't want to be culled! crying

RE: Baby seal Killing

Cute little baby seals grow up to eat poor little fishies - it's all about something called 'dog eats dog' or in this case 'humans make use of anything they can'.

I think I'm a little more concerned when humans kill each other than baby seals, but what is the real difference between clubbing a baby seal to death, and swatting a fly?

The seal is higher up the food chain and I hate flies, but think about it - doesn't all life have the 'right' to exist?

And what about vegetables? Don't vegetables have the right to live in peace rather than be genetically mutated and pulled up by their roots and thrown into boiling water without even a tiny tiny aspirin to take away the horrible pain of being boiled alive?

How's life?

Are the Russians still interefering withing the borders of your sovereign state? dunno

My Georgian friend now works in Abu Dhabi.............. used to work in Georgia for an American oil company then they pulled out and she lost her job, then they took her back working in Dubai, then she moved on........... but her parents and brother are still at home in Georgia and she gets obviously concerned for them.

RE: Will you forgive the man who has been voilent to you?

They often know what they are doing.

They are often insecure excuses for men let alone human beings.

They have to live the rest of their lives in the knowledge that they have used brute physical force to try and control women they profess to love.

They should be forgiven, but they should not be allowed the opportunity to continue to spoil the lives of those they claim to love.

RE: LET US BE HONEST.....

Love? - yes!

A new friend? - several!

Realise I am not alone? - now that's a deep philosophical question, and should really be a thread subject!

(See, some of us humanoids believe we are all alone trapped inside our bodies yearning to return to the galactic dust from where we came and intermingle with other cosmic thingyness!)

Fun? - oh yes! wine

RE: Will you forgive the man who has been voilent to you?

I just spoke to Mother Teresa - ashe told me to say:

'I am a saint. Forgive him.'

That's all she said. She should know. She's going though the papal thingybob process of becoming a saint.

RE: Will you forgive the man who has been voilent to you?

You can forgive somebody.

Forgiving somebody is a lot easier if you never have to see them again - ever!¬

grin

'Forgive and forget' is a wonderful thing to strive towards.

It IS possible, but how can you ever forget if seeing a person's face or even hearing their name brings back painful memories?

Forgive them - yes!

Do your best to also 'forget' them!

When a painful remimder of the past hits you in the face, just smile, change the subject, and move on!

RE: What is a family ?

I should become a Great Uncle on or about 5th September (my deceased brother's eldest child is about to have a baby!).

I'm thinking of leaving everything to my unborn great neice (I hope the baby is going to be a girl as we have way too many testy men in the family) or great nephew.

The wonderful thing about an unborn child is that it has had zero opportunity to piss you off unless you're the mother and get the odd kick in the belly!

grin

RE: What is a family ?

Intererting........... so everybody I meet and interact with are not only my 'neighbours' (and that can also be in a gobal village internet thingy kinda way) but also my family? confused

Yup - makes sense... after all we all love some members of our real families, and dislike or even hate others! grin

RE: Darwin's Theory of Evolution

We are a product of three factors:

1. Our genetics

2. The environment we have grown up in and adapted to and survived

3. The 'x' factor

I have the 'x' factor!

I do not know what the 'x' factor is, but I like it and it's cool!

Don't be silly - my choo choo is simply ENORMOUS if measured in centimetres and you think in inches! tongue

RE: Advice..Ladies

My choo choo is of the old variety - all steam and nowhere to go! crying

Good news at last!

I had a dream last night!

I woke up with a feeling in my water that everything is going to be ok!

The recession will be over in less than 20 years and then we'll wake up and discover that we are all part of China!

applause

I am going to save up for plastic surgery!

(if you can't beat them, join them - I am going to have eye surgery so I can look Chinese and hope that in 20 years I shall be a good and trusted Chinese minion personage - yay!)

So - are YOU scared that China is becoming stronger?

There is a growing percentage of the population that is blaming 'the west' for the effects of the global recession on their standard of living and want to punish us!

How can they punish us?

China can buy up more and more of our 'toxic' assets and then, hey presto, our property will be their property and we'll all be living on Chinese land paying rent as filthy foreign peasants!
