am ya know sometimes people want to take a few days off and hide accounts to stop emails building ..... know a 'regular' who has as she was busy so no need to panic so much
they will be back, they always are when they are ready including ME
Hate to say it but from the replies of shock I get when I do reply to that initial mail )which I ALWAYS do!) is does seem the norm across the board! FYI same goes for the guys too! I have tried to contact guys first and they dont reply as well! People seem quiet comfortbale being extremely rude online, is it because they are looking at a screen and dont realise there is another person at the other end who took the time to write to them in the first place?
Then again people have got much ruder and disrespectful over the last few years! One great thing about recession! Makes people more humble and grateful for what the have including the people in their lives
well I best get going since it will take me so long to get up n running in this cold! How many layers today? Had 5 plus a jacket yesterday so think its the same again .... .gez going through clothes at a fierce rate these days!
I'm cold but loving this weather! but yeah glad no one gets to see me go to bed at night with big wooly jamies, wooly cardy and fluffy socks and thats getting into a bed with an electric blanket on!
Dont think I'd strip even for Brad Pitt these nights
I so agree with SG on the reality check bit but also I do think we've benn talked into Depression .... Recession has actually been around 18mths+ and we all still survived. Media just getting onto the bandwagon now .... and what about after 9/11 .... what was that? Dont remember them calling any recession rain dance then but lots of people lost jobs after that but wasn't the same talk about it. Personally suffered 2 redundancies in 2001 and 2004!
Mistakes of the government finally have come to the surface and they have to use recession word to cover it up .... Companies are jumping on the band wagon too as so many have wasted money its easier to let go then completely change their ways.
jmo of course
While financially its scary (but I have been self employed for over 2yrs so I know what scary is that long) I'm loving it! We can finally stand up for ourselves and demand a better service, quality and price! The customer can be right not dismissed! Plus children can start being children again and not spoit brats. Snobs can come down of their high horses and we can all be the true Irish again that the we were once before and loved for!
Yup I hope so too for him but cant help be wary for him also. Its a lot to do for someone but at least if it works its worth it but if not ..... well he will always have great friends like you to be there for him! So he's lucky already
OK sorry missed that post but why dont they just continue that way for a bit longer and see?? Relocating is a huge thing whoever does it but think it is a downfall of being able to meet ppl from such distance .... but like you said earlier whats mean to be wont pass you by. Just needs to be careful to slow it down and take some time, her not talking because of it would really worry me but then we dont know exactly why from her side ... they maybe other reasons?
My thoughts exactly! First things first before everyone starts dropping jobs and relocating .... .have they actually met yet? Sorry for being so blunt but have to be realistic here too! Internet love isn't alway real! (btw speaking from experience of being badly played on here!!!)
After the initial getting to know you people should really stop jumping to the end scene without ever meeting. Only thing that saved me on the playing stakes was I never made that assumption and that even though I did have feelings its wasn't a definite thing without meeting someone because I have the intelligence to know the mind can create that perfect fantasy that can make online seem far sweeter!
After meeting then yes again the internet is a great way to stay in touch until the next meeting and then the next, etc ..... THEN and only then should the likes of relocating be considered ... JMO!
RE: Welcome back, Noodles!
Missed ya big time hun!
