RE: Who is Bill O'Reilly? He says americans are dummy, models

OMG you just have to be right.

Lets take it one step further.

Ignore all news.

Rather than be somewhat mis-informed Lets just all be uninformed.

What the heck is a neocon? (Warning... labels are used to incited others to believe predjudice is proper)

and arn't they shunning fox right now.

Oh I forgot I got that from a different news service. I must be mis-informed.

RE: Star Wars vs Star Trek......you choose

and if you need to sloow down in a hurry.

Cochrane deceleration.

Watch out for that warp core breach.

RE: Amateur Theater

That friends reading idea is great. Might try it some time.

I have played several roles. My favorites were.

I played the catapiller in Alice in Wonderland.

I played Benjamin Franklin once in a play on the early years of the united states.

RE: where have all the long haired men gone

<----- Yep.

and the picture is about 6 months old.

My hair is now at the center of my back and still growing.

It is allways clean.

And now I no longer know Delia it will not be cut.

Kansan is around if I see him I will just say hi and invite him into the thread to show you we still exist.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

I have recently spoken with Oceans.

He has turned his attention to other things for the moment and regrets that he will not be posting in this thread because of this.

He did ask that we continue this in an amicable manner as there are several very good points of view on this thread.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

I agree.

The vast majority of journalists in the modern world appear to have lost the ablility to be unbiased.

There are however some who still hold that ideal.

The pen I was speaking of is not the pen of the journalist but the pen of people such as you and I.

the internet is a powerful tool.

and so is snail mail.

RE: Gentlemen Still Exist, I Swear...

cheers

RE: Gentlemen Still Exist, I Swear...

Rule # ___

Never listen to advise from other guys either.

Only you know what works for you.

Most of us have no clue.

those of us that do have a clue ain't going to pass it on cause we don't want the competetion.tongue

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

Don't underestimate the system here.

It is not necessary to remove our leaders (and the forces hidden behind them) at the point of a gun.

A more lasting choice is to use the point of the pen.

Only time will tell if this can happen.

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

In all fairness if you are a modern christian man and you marry a woman that follows the message of mohamad you better be ready to step up.

Cause she is going to expect a certian level of respect from you. Muslim women have more rights than you think.

and more strength then you know.

RE: If.......you could glimpse of what the future holds

Nice...

And quite well put.

If you caught a glimpse of a possible future. Would you tell people about it?

RE: Cheap Labor in America

As I look around I do see some illegals using the system to their advantage.

However I see far more born in the USA people using the system than I do illegals.

Who's way are we paying?

RE: New

Welcome.

I am not great, but there are some on here that are.

have fun.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

You have written a true jewel in one sentence.

'The whole World need to stand up for the end of this conflict.'

Aye and you are absolutely right.

I am but a small voice, you are but a small voice. Lost within the thunder of the guns.

Each small voice raised will swell the sound till the multitude becomes louder then the growl of the beast and the greedy must lift their heads from the trough and acknowledge the truth - earth has become to small we must get along or perish.

RE: alternative to capitalism

Although Venezuela's current system appears to be a form of socialism it is being fueled by oil.

That makes it capitalistic.

Money follows oil.

Where would this grand experiment be if there was no oil.

I am sure that Mr. Chavez does not live in a mud house in the jungle. Does not eat food he grows himself. Does not drive the same kind of vehicle his people drive. Does not wear clothing he made himself.

Nor do the people that make his government work.

Any form of government with a single leader is a pyramid scheme.

The wider the base - the better is life for those at the top.

RE: Cheap Labor in America

America was built on cheap labor. America was also built with hard labor. When I was younger you went to work before the sun and finished your day as that same sun set. Now everyone wants the same money for less hours, more breaks, less work, more benefits. No wonder all the goods cost more.

As far as 'illegals'.

I am a bit confused by the differing comments I have read in this and other threads about this subject.

On the one hand people claim that we are shipping jobs to other countries.

On the other hand people claim we are losing jobs to illegals.

The ancestors of each of us came here looking for a dream.

If you can't compete with the next wave of people looking for a dream - As I have said before, pick up your stones and work harder.

Or lose it all. You can gripe about it or you can compete with it. But I doubt you can effectively change it.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

That area of the world (in fact all areas of the world) has changed many times and will change many more in the future. Those changes are only lines on a map.

People are the key.

We can choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution.

War creates ripples of chaos in the pond of human endeavours. Those ripples expand out till they reach the limits of the pond and Return to the place where they started.

Peace can also ripple out upon that same pond.

which would you rather have?

RE: Guys, Shes always too young, too old or too far away.

When I find her Nothing will be the only barrier I see.

Anything else will just be part of the path to her door. Climb, crawl, walk, fly, or teleport I will find a way to her door.

RE: I say "........."

I say handshake conversing

RE: What is the worst pain in the world???

Tooth ache is bad no doubt. My worse pain 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

My body remembers that pain everytime I get near a source of heat.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

Hey Plarkin,

Didn't recognize you without the trappings of civilization.

I think you underestimate the Iraqis. I once stated that they were like another eagle taking flight.

I may have seen that wrong. We are like a broken wing bird desperatley protecting her nest.

Iraq may suprise us all and become the Nightingale of Paradise. A beacon to the world showing us all the way back to the garden.

I can only hope.

Correct me if my history is wrong. Do they not contain the garden within their borders.

RE: whats the best way to pick up a girl
