I hate to disappoint you too, but I never voted for Nixon either. Ray Charles could see where he was coming from way back in the 50's. If I don't like either dem or rep, I vote for someone else just to take a vote away from them. I just might have to this election.
I'm thinking in small part, jealousey, in large part, stupidity and ignorence. If we were as perfect as a lot of nations seem to think we are, maybe they should start tithing to us.
How would you feel about sailing the Chesapeake Bay on a masted schooner then a nice seafood dinner at a quiet place on the bay...then a little quiet time.
Maybe many of us feel that we have no one else to express our affection to. Sometimes I do random acts of kindness just to feel I have worth. I spend a lot of time on CS BSing with people I don't know and will never know apart from this site, just to have someone to communicate with. It makes no difference whether I have anything in common with them, they are here and they have needs that are not being met anyplace but here. It's this or nothing at all for many of us.
