The show I enjoyed the most is a show that only lasted one season: Firefly
An odd mix of sci-fi and western that never got a chance to really takeoff. Clever, witty dialogue, interesting characters, amazingly emotive musical score and a solid storyline made the show a winner.
How about both relocating to a mutually agreed on country. Someplace where you've both thought of moving to at some point. That way you're both in the same boat and have only each other to rely on, initially.
I think every single one of us wants as much of the complete package as we can get: looks, personality, intelligence, good lover, etc.
As we get older, it gets harder to attract the kind of person we see ourselves with and we begin to start taking things off our checklist until we get to a point where we'll just settle for not being alone.
