Jock asked the bus conductor how much it would cost to travel into town. "80 pence" said the conductor. Jock thought this was a bit steep so he decided to run after the bus for a few stops. "How much now?" he asked. "Still 80 pence". Jock ran after the bus for another three stops and, panting, he asked "How much now?" The conductor replied "90 pence. You're running in the wrong direction!"
The Scots have an infallible cure for sea-sickness. They lean over the side of the ship with a ten pence coin in their teeth."
You are really saying that the family members of people that died actually benefit in some morbid way?? How can you even suggest that? If your son or daughter, mother or father died,,,,even if there was some kind of compensation, and I dont know that there was,,it does not bring back a life! What is wrong with people???
I know all about losing a loved one, I lost my husband to the inadequateness of the health service here. Believe me I know nothing can bring them back. But the family members did receive compensation, so yes they did benefit. I'm just answering the question that was asked.
No you are so wrong, money might buy the material things in like, but it doesn't buy what's really important, love and happiness, and it certainly can't bring back what you once had.
I am living in Ireland, and our temperatures in winter don't go below -3 or -4 which we don't get to often. and summer we hit mid 20s Celsius. Couldn't take extremes either way.
I really don't think you can generalise. We are all individual, no two people are the same, you cannot say that because someone is born under a certain zodiac sign they will act in the same way as everyone else born under that sign. Astrology is just a bit of fun, not to be taken so seriously.
I think as we become older, looks, financial status and height do not appear so important any more, I think we lose that shallow, superficialness. I believe chemistry, compatibility are far more important, we learn to see what is within and not just concerned by the exterior. and as we get older we become more financially secure ourselves.
Yeah I do it too, usually while listening to talk shows on the TV or radio, I give my opinion out loud, or my favourite is giving out to the politicians who are on them.
RE: THE IRISH HUNTING TRIP
Why. You are more qualified than me in that department.
