I know where you're coming from, as a teenager I hung out with friends from what some would call a deprived area on Dublin's Northside, this was back in the late 70s when there was no where to go, so we would hang out on the streets, on certain nights the gardai would pull in one of the lads take him up to the station, beat the crap out of him and release him the next morning, I'm not saying they were totally innocent but that is how the gardai dealt with petty crime back then. So yes it makes you somewhat skeptical of our law enforcement officers.
Hi AB. I think if you are financially stable and in a position that you don't have to take up this offer, then don't. Too many of us stick with a job because of financial reasons and not for job satisfaction. Weren't you talking about going back to college to do something you really wanted to do, then I say hold off on the job, go back to college and fulfill your dream. Good luck with it.
This is complete bull, no one in their right mind sends a copy of their passport to some one else, and I can't believe any embassy or consulate would check it out for you either.
I wouldn't have a problem with it, I would never ask some one i didn't know quite well, but you can usually tell if both feel the same. Then I say go for it. Just have to find some body I want to date first though.
RE: tallagh
Ah Tallaght is alright, it's home to Shamrock Rovers.
