I like taking my dates to an amusement park and for a ride on my motorcycle. Amusement parks are fun no matter what and it makes people more relaxed and able to be themselves. Even if we don't find love, at least we had a fun day.
I know that "Global Warming" is solely a POLITICAL scare tactic being used on the whole planet. It is driven by endless grants from POLITICIANS how are nothing but professional liars and con men. They have their greedy agendas and this is just one tool in the shed. Climate Change is NORMAL. The planet's weather goes in cycles. It is constantly changing. Stop believing everything you here from the Politically Motivated "Experts".

It's been very interesting seeing the comments. I understand about not wanting a lazy bum...gotcha. But that is not my main thought... I have a job, fairly good job. I pay all y bills, own my own house, vehicle, etc... I take good care of myself and my two kids. For the last year, all the "ladies" I've dated have all decided that I wasn't "enough" for them monetarily-wise. And I've met them in churches, through friends, online...etc. If you look at the voting breakdown of this poll, you will see that 40+ ladies don't agree mostly, but most men of any age agree completely. So I'm not the only man seeing this trend out in our world. God bless all of you. May you find peace and happiness!
I gun is a tool to make ones life better or worse depending how it's used. I can create beautiful sculptures with a chisel or hurt/kill someone with it. With my car I can drive my family to the beach, or mow down pedestrians in a busy city square. It's all in how a person uses the tool. Australia banned guns and the criminals turned to machetes. If someone is intent on doing harm, they will find a tool to use, to do it with. I'd rather have the gun so that I can defend myself, family and strangers from a nut bent on hurting others. Anti-gun laws only hurt good law-abiding citizens, and give criminals the peace of mind that they are not going to get hurt or die the next time they decide to do ill to others!
Sadly... if a person, male OR female, doesn't have looks....MOST other people won't take a chance to find out if that person has a great personality. Without a beautiful door, most people won't enter a house to see what is inside.
I don't like the full blown damsel in distress type, but If the woman is too independent, then why would she need me? I want to be needed as much as I need her. I don't want a woman who I have to wonder if she is gonna decide one day that I'm no longer what she wants and split. I want a fully engaged relationship where both sides want, need and desire to be with each other and to stay together even in the tough times. I've tried being in a relationship with an "independent" woman before and it was like having a friend with benefits. I didn't feel like my feelings mattered. That is not the type of relationship I want. I'm just too old fashioned I guess.

I love discussions on anything and the more opinions and ideas, the better the conversation. BUT I hate all the name calling and insults. That's not a true conversation. Once the insults and name calling start, usually the people enjoying the original conversation start to leave. Honestly...The ART of true conversation is being lost in today's society. I truly wish it was taught in our schools how to have a true conversation where everyone involved LISTENS to others as well as give their own ideas and opinions. A conversation is not a "SOAPBOX" to preach from. Everyone must be open to other ideas.
I've been engaged three times and married once (16yrs). All of these relationships were destroyed by male "friends". For women, most relationships start as friends and the longer they are friends, eventually she will develop romantic feelings for him. I guess I'm doomed to be alone, because I will no longer tolerate my lady having male friends. Sorry, burned three times in my life. I have to draw the line somewhere.
No, actually, I'm very serious. I'm enjoying life now, having the freedom to do as I want when I want with no nagging. LOL. As I said, I'm not opposed to a relationship should the right lady come my way but a relationship is definitely not high on my priority list.
I'm tending to agree with the Partner (not a marriage) comment. I like the thought of finding someone to do things with, but then we go to our separate homes when we are done. Is this the definition of Friends With Benefits?
I commit to a woman once. Gave her the best 20 years of my life. Now I'm alone, credit ruined, house gone and damn near broke because the divorce was so expensive I am barely getting by and still paying it off over 2 years later. U.S. Divorce Laws are out dated and reflect a time when the man was the only bread winner in the family and they needed to protect the woman when the husband skipped town with the secretary! My ex always made more money than I did working two jobs, yet she got the house and the kids after she cheated with her boss! How is that fair?? I will commit to a long term relationship, but the lady I meet better be something EXTRA special for me to get married again!! Another good, loyal, honest man screwed over. Why should we commit???
Why do women think that they can train us or change us??? We are who we are! Accept us for who we are or don't. I hear the same thing from women all the time! "Take me as I am or go away!" Is there a double standard there? As for my Bad Boy description, I'm not talking about bedroom activities. I'm talking about relationships. Two complete different things!
Oh... and by the way...My definition of a "Good Man" is a man who treats his lady with respect and love. Is always honest and loyal to her and her alone. Is chivalrous and goes out of his way to show her that he loves her and makes her feel special. A SHORT definition of a "Bad Boy" is a man-child who treats women like crap no matter how much they do for him. He disappoints them on a regular basis and ends up hurting them in the end. There is much more I can add to this, but these are observations I have made of my male friends through the years. They have ALL fit into one of these two categories. I have not seen a mixture yet.

Personally, I am totally open to whoever I'm with. My lady is always welcome to be with me anytime, talk with any/all of my friends, read my email, view my phone, etc.... I do understand needing your space at times to just be alone with your thoughts or your friends. What would make me start to wonder would be if she was constantly texting or talking with someone else and not willing to even say who it is. If it's innocent, then what's the harm? No, I don't need to know every detail of the conversation. But I don't appreciate any secrets. I feel this way because I've been cheated on twice in this way while I was being the trusting man and giving her her privacy. So I hope I can find a lady who is willing to be open with me, as I will her.
I would hope so! But alas, some people rush into a relationship before knowing if the person is fully compatible. I admit, I've actually done it. Live and learn.
