you can,but it dies down, friend of mine uses it like that, its not reliable, then you have to light the fire,as its 2,400 watts but only comes on when its needed ,not bad really .i use it to get quick warmth then light my woody after
ive got one of those panel heatersthat hav a timer,a friend of mine from spain advise me once on it,i got one,and its really warm ,guaratedfor life made in aus cost400 dollars and switches off whe thentemp reaches desired level.but still looking for something else thats more eco friendly,to heat other than my wood fire, got two of them coz i hav a cold house btoo
there is a system where evry house has its own wind turbine, the electricity accessories supplier iun healesville down the road here has a wind turbine on his roof,it runs his power all day, more than enough for a few humans.it will come into practice one day.Itried it once to light my garage, but when the wind blew hard,it blew the globes on the lights as i didnt have a voltage regulator.i was using a holden alternator and battery and a bicycle wheel with fan blades t works.when we get attacked by commos ,aa lot of this stuff will come into being
quite often at work,i boil the kettle for a cuppa, and it will trip the fuse.kettlesor for that matter anyelement that requires fast heating, draws a lot of amps, sometimes too much for the house to handle ,especially when everything is turned on,i cant run my washing machine tv and dryer at once, it trips the fuse,i have to have one turned off
makes you wonder if her laptop has a mask too.[/quot ,i reckon its a good mask i want one lol.could be worse i could be bac to shirtsof friday haha thatd turn everyone off haha
yeah true, but in areas away from people mostly ,you try walking thru bangcock non peak hour arrrgh,Our new wind powered turbines are producing nice clean energy, just need more of them
oh yeah , like a big heat bank, thats wonderful, were really behind here,to neasy just to put the electric heater on,but its going to hav to change ,electricity is already driving people stone broke with large families.i always say to my daughter, empty rooms need no ligjht. and she says to me that i have a disease because i,m always putting off the lights.
house i just plastered last year, was lime and sand rendered, and theoutside walls are straw bales rapped in chicken wire, and clamped together in brick fashion, and 80mm thick lime and sand is rendered over the outside and insideof the walls,it has a rating of R12.when you consider the usual insulation batts in walls are 1.5 or r2,thats a fair jump. You can be outside in 35 degree heat, and i kid you not, with the doors closed to keep the heat out, the inside on one particular day was only15degrees,with no air conditioner.bloody beautiful, and it smells like lavender the housebecause of the straw
i ate two blocks of chocolate watching tyhat show ,the one withe the plywood walls ,thats interesting, glas that heats up rooms.that sounds real dear tho, everything from belgium is dear,i reckon their brains are gold plated lol
thats wot i mean, it wouldnt be enough to run hot water continuously through pipes to heat your home in winter.there must be something with a bank that stores the heat somehow

does anyone on here know the system used to enable solar power as a heating system in winter? i,m guessing the solar panels run a hot water boiler and is transfered to a hydronic unit through the house, but i dont think this would be a lasting heat source,it woyuld lose power during the day and one would have to switch back over to a log fire .am i right?is there another system of solar heating that wont drain quickly? just that i saw an ad for solar heating, and was wondering. i kjnow im thinking out aloud here ,but oh well,i,m scratchin my head
see today holden unveiled its family size commodoere electric car, apparently its so good performance is not compromised being electric.hopefully the world will start to become a cleaner place when the petrol cars dissapear
