Dont need to go to Bali...go to the Dandenong swimming pool and certain days there now you cant wear a bikini because the muslim women are there. They even have certain hours no one can use the pool so as not to offend them....and thats a public pool that all tax payers pay for in their council rates
I always hated credit cards and was brought up to save for what I wanted. My first trip overseas made me learn the hard way, sometimes you just really need a credit card, even a wallet full of notes didnt help book plane tickets nor buy a can of soft drink on an american airline flight.
I hear you loud and clear....I remember a time when you could work overtime and not get penalized like you do now. The amount they tax you makes it almost useless to do the extra hours.Besides, all the jobs which were once considered second jobs are now taken up by people here to "study"...jobs like taxi drivers, security, servo work, hospitality. What I cant get my little blond head around is..we allow all these people here to work when jobs are already scarce and most Aussies are doing it hard. Bet your bottom dollar we wouldnt be allowed to work in the countries they come from if we are just visitors.
Love his way with words and the way he twists them around......as to his characters coming to life, I have a close friend that is granny Weatherwax to a T...
His books are funny and an easy read ..ideal if you cant devote hours every day to reading
Great Idea except we arnt puppets hun...we certainly couldnt do a worse job...but what politics is about isnt doing a better job..its about who can pull your strings the most...
most of my info comes from the horses mouth ..or should I say camels??? I have worked with these "students" who come here for one reason only ...to get their citizenship......like some I know studied hospitality and worked security...when i said why...their answer was they are just bidding their time to get residency....so here they are...if you want to see what its about come to Melbourne...then argue with me...at least you still ahve taxi ddrivers in queensland that speak English and arnt on their mobiles talking to yackety yack
