neverthless , the unfurling of the past seems to me never changes , or never will. so that is one thing stays the same. so, EVERYTHING doesnt change.

There is constant development and changes happening around people.
If and how much you are changing yourself, is up to you.
Some people change their circumstances in life constantly, some people are creatures of habit (same place to live, some job their whole life, same partner) and have less changes in their personal life. Still, changes happen.
