I don't think being defined as a complicated person is as cut & dry as gender. I believe it depends on the person, along with a slew of other factors. I have a family member (a male), who is an extremely complicated person - the most complicated person I know, in fact. Many people, regardless of gender, have a tendency to make things way more complicated than they need to be.
I can relate to that type of realistic thinking … Instead of sitting there, wishing, you work toward what you would like to achieve. It's unrealistic to expect others to fulfill your wishes.
Awww … I have a paranoid cat too. But I believe it's because he was abused at some point. He just showed up at my door one day a few years ago, looking all skinny and sad - peering in through my screen door. He's never left since that day & his paranoia has greatly improved. I have his pic on my profile … he's the Hemmingway cat.
