I sign petitions If I know what they are about and if they are valid petitions that is doing something contructive i.e. help the local community, rally behind a cause (save the pandas) type of thing.... it all depends on what or who is behind the petitions...
Sorry Martia, I was on a different train of thought - I was originally talking about Communism - Yes, but the chiefs and indians I was referring to was the Australian Politics.
I apologiesed for my airing my grievances against another person on this thread...
that is where it should of ended, but me, who happens to keep talking instead of shutting up, kept going by adding a post script that didn't belong on this page, but since I do talk (under wet cement) I was trying to address a couple of issues on the same page... Rivame, just pointed out that I had made a simple error... and I appreciated her constructive advise....

As for this site, yes, people have met, got engaged, and some have even married... so it does happen, not as often as some like, but you do hear about the wonderful sucess stories..
for heaven sakes - it's not what's on the outside that matters, it's what's inside.... good, bad, ugly is just a perception ... You're not yourself any favours ... cute photo by the way...
do you pick up a book and judge by it's cover, or do you turn over to the back to find out what's about....
Because of the lack of anything decent on free to air - I changed to Foxtel, yep, 100 odd channels to choose from, and it wasn't any better - I did like the movie channel - no commercials... now I have no foxtel, and I barely watch tv - even if I do have 20 odd channels to watch, it's all repeats or full of reality programmes -
I had no business airing a grievance about another member on this site - therefore I wish to apologies for doing so... Daggyone I have already sent you an apology via email for hijacking your thread.
As I stated there are 3 sides to every story - I stand by that -
however, please note, if I am as bad as I have been painted, how come I am still with the same man that I started dating in January..?? and I have known him for 11 months...
