RE: Face Book

WoW! wow Mark Zuckerberg who founded facebook in 2004 the geeky guy at the time when he founded it "school boy". Face book is valued at $104 billion after making a roller coaster debut on Wall Street

But Yes... Now he gets to share it....

RE: Things that make you go Nom nom

I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself as I a blasted cold... great way to start my holidays, so up I went to the local deli and bought a fresh chicken and salad roll, and a scotch egg, haven't had one of those in years..... yummmy, even better they made it themselves...yay

RE: Re: serenes randoms

Maybe it's different, because we are at different stages of single lives.. you were recently in a relationship, whereas I was still getting used to the idea I no longer had a partner in marriage, and now venturing into a world that I hadn't seen since I was in my 20's...
I must admit there was some positive aspects to marriage, it certainly beats the unsurity of being single, looking for that special person..but at this stage, I am still taking baby steps

RE: Polyamory relationships

I really don't have a opinion on it..there's some cultures that has it and some places in America where it allowed... but at the end of the day, who cares...personally I'm not the sharing type, so I for one, wouldn't enter into such relationship..tip hat coffee2

RE: Re: serenes randoms

Tony I do have someone in my life.. but I love the fact that Monday to Thursday ... my time is my own... I answer to no one, do what I want when I want.. On the weekends I have someone to share it with...but as for being in a full time committed relationship 7/7 365 days a year... No thank you... Whether that feeling may change down the track, who knows what lies around the corner.. I live for today, tomorrow will come soon enough without my help...

Ok who's team didn't win

Yep I screwed the post up, but then that's nothing new... doh
but unfortunetely unlike my email box - there's no Delete button to delete the silly poll ...foot in mouth spam foot in mouth

RE: Re: serenes randoms

It does rock doesn't it... being single that is...grin Apart from some responsibilities (work and children) mumbling life is great...

RE: Do you suffer fools?

As I had updated my profile... I know for a fact that I have said nothing about fools... if anyone has been a "fool" that is me!!

RE: Custody battles, property, residence, visitation.....

Ex has more or less signed over the house to me, I make the mortgage repayments on it. He felt that since he never lived in the house - it was only fair that I got it - ... (wasn't his idea - his parents told him to do it...dancing)

RE: Re: serenes randoms

I am definitely not OCD when it comes to housework - that was my mother and I rebelled when I left home.. as long as the place is clean and tidy and guests can sit down comfortably that's all that matters...

A bit chilly here to Serene... I'm all wrapped in pjs and dressing gown.. waiting for the sun to come out, and it hasn't mumbling

Oh well, my holidays begin today, so I better get started on the spring cleaning... after I've had another cup of coffee... Yay!! for coffee...rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Custody battles, property, residence, visitation.....

Thanks Rob - not that's there's any assets to speak of except the house and I have got that, so there's only the super.
I just want what I am legally entitled to - no more, no less.. I just don't want some asian bimbo claiming my share (childrens) when she has done nothing to earn it...

But yeah, like you and Martia I am very cynical at the way the courts etc do business... they aren't really there to look after your interests, except their own... unless you have a really good shark of a lawyer but then you need an arm and leg to pay for them, which I don't have..laugh

Luckily I don't have to deal with the family court with regards to the children.. so that's a plus

RE: Custody battles, property, residence, visitation.....

Well I'm about to ring Csa and have a review done - my file is still in the overseas section, I have to update his address etc, so that they can update his income etc.. I deliberately left my arrangements as private, but now Csa can deal with... why the change of attitude, simply...because I allowed him to label me a "Mug"

Then the next call is Legal aid, and set in motion "Property Settlement"

I think I have dragged my heels long enough... like 3 years to long... So now I am taking back control and to hell with him...

RE: Mythamaniac or a Pathological Liar

hah!! add another pathological liar to this list.... my ex bloody husband.. apparently not only I divorced, but we are going through a messy one at that... like what the hell .. I know I haven't filed, and if he has filed when and where, I don't know what the laws are - and if so he must haved filed it must while he was living overseas, AND WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN' PAPERWORK??? and as for messy...geezus, we haven't even done property settlement and under Australian law I have 12 months from the date of divorce to do it... unbelievable very mad

RE: Custody battles, property, residence, visitation.....

You know something Daggy, maybe you and the other guys/girls can give us poor females/males tips on what we should/shouldn't do when it comes to
seeking property maintenance, etc.,
the information I am gleaning from here, is better than the info I have been fed by legal aid and this site is a friggin' lot cheaper too...dunno

RE: Mythamaniac or a Pathological Liar

Marta I get the impression that you have had a personal experience with this type of person ...

Either way truth or fiction, the man will either be charged or he will end up having to move away to escape from the stigma of having to justify/explain his actions publicly... The man will pay the price eventually, lose of friends, and associates, there will be no place for him to hide, and forever more thanks to digitalisation people will be able to access and still judge him long after I am cremated...conversing

What gives...

When I have my 4 in tow, it's like I am either being arrested or protected ...

actually Wash with regards to looking down on people .. "experts" say that is how you address children, by meeting them on there level and looking into their eyes.. therefore you reduce the impression of using intimidation tactics.. unfortunely for me I am vertically challenged and my children are all taller than me... it just plain bl**dy sucks being vertically challenged by your own family..rolling on the floor laughing
