Seriously Dave, you sound like a guy who's got his head screwed on... I hope you know what you are getting yourself into, and I wish you all the best... as long as you are happy, at the end of the day that is all that matters...
but daggy, the convicts did - and they didn't have to pay colossal amount of money..
Interesting how some of those convict ships never made it to Australia...nor did they have fresh fruit and veges... actually they didn't have a bed, they were restrained... geez not much difference between the boat people and the convicts...
at times Nessa - it's a fine line, when referring to someone who is either older or younger than yourself... eg... if I was talking to you as a person, or if I was referring to you in a conversation I would address you as Nessa, but here on this site, in the context of the thread, the conversation in general is younger and older...jmo
okay I understand that - but please don't send me an email - I'm 49 who still thinks at times that I'm in my teens/early 20's... age is just a number, remember it's not how we mentally think or behave...it's what society defines how we behave at a given age...
As an older woman, I am very curious to hear why you want to be seen out with an older woman -
is this a gloating thing.... "look what I've snagged, I got my own cougar type thing"
plus there is the negative remarks from your mates etc., teasing you about dating a woman old enough to be your mother... let alone your mother who may not approve of the idea either...
The reason why I am asking, is because I get a few emails from men under 25 and honestly I can't see the logic, but then I don't see the logic when I see a man in his 80's with a woman in tow, who's barely 20...
So yes please educate me as to why??? what is your reasoning.... ???
ha!! my boyfriend thinks that good ol' USA is the best thing since slice of bread and wants to move back there... he reckons that Australia is nothing but overtaxed, greedy good for nothing nation.... yes he is Australian born and bred... now he wants to import a corvette stingray over here.... middle age crisis at the tender age of 55... what next...???
Check the checker comes to mind... however, after my daughter had a drama with an ombudsman, she was told there was no recourse - I like you don't believe that - what about the governing body that oversees that department including the ombudsman....
Everyone can offer different advise - and all are valid, providing bubs wants to play the game... and babies have a mind of their own...
1. is baby breast or bottle - if bottle check flow rate of teat, you may have to slow or fasten milk flow -
2. Gripe water if it is still available in chemists - it is safe and gentle - pharmist or assistant will advise you the amount you need to put in baby's formulae
3. After feeding, bath baby, turn baby on tummy using your hand as support - baby will kick and carrying on like they do in the womb - whater is causing pain, will ease it.. change baby, and put to sleep - have you a musical mobile - one that plays for 5 mins or more...
4. when baby asleep, turn off mobiles, disconnect landline, put a sign on door and lie on lounge or go to bed and stay there - don't worry about house work...
Thank gawd for the maternal and child course - it has saved my bacon more times than I care to remember when raising my 4...
5. A good neighbour or friend will come to your aid... Ask!!!
Now that would be a great bonus - I don't know why the hell it wasn't introduced with medicare in the first place..
that obamacare after just reading some posts is more policitical bashing - but an irish man asked for someone to explain what it is... thank goodness it's only 2 pages...
Australia will descend into a multiracial and miscegenated hell from which it will never emerge. Allowing in racial groups that have a much lower average intelligence and different religion (Islam) can end only in poverty, misery, chaos and bloodshed.
That's a bit harsh!!!
I don't know the statistics, and frankly I don't care, but I do think that judging a whole race on a handful of individuals is not right.... I think some cultures we could learn a lot - particularly family values that seem to be decaying under the present system -
In a hundred years we have come along way, some of our choices are not great and others have been great... I guess working in a multicultured environment - my eyes are being opened to their beliefs and core values...and frankly as a "white race" they have a lot to offer it we open our ears, eyes, and shut our mouths... jmo
maybe because they may be all in bed - as the Eu has shut down for the night as well...
As for Barclay's if it is anything like our major banks, they are there to make money, to compete on the global market and stuff the everyday person...
My feelings on the banks, if my wages was cash, I wouldn't need a bank.... just my humble opinion
But Rob, these people are coming over here without permission, therefore, the terms and conditions that are set down, they don't care about - all they care about is fleeing their country for whatever reason they feel is valid and coming here... Overseas we are considered a joke - it appears to some countries, that Australia is a doormat - simply because no one really wants to make the hard decisions.... can't understand why, they always make hard decisions when it involves more money ... However, I do agree with your concept, let the Australians do the voting using the referendum system... after all they did with the Australian National Anthem...
girls are choosey, they want to live their dreams before settling down raising a family.... raising a family is a full time thankless job, and when they have a chance to explore the world, make money etc., particularly the ones that fought hard at school to be well educated... gone are those days, my friend, try a culture that none of the above matters...
woke up to some blue sky - not sure how long it is going to last, as there are still some dark grey clouds looming... and it seems like we are going to some south to southwest winds (max 25knots), which if the weather had been nice would of dried my washing in next to no time....
did you know that Saint Nicholas alias Santa Claus was actually dressed in green until Coca Cola bought the patent rights for marketing purposes and changed the colour green to red....
RE: Which alien would you want to go out on a date with?
Klingon - they know how to treat their women right....
