I completely agree with you, it seems a shame that the world had reached a point were you can't put pictures of your family on the net but we have to face the fact you can't, safely. On the same subject from a different angle, as an older man the profiles I check out would normally be of a granny, no problem there but if she's decided to show all her grandchildren in the picture I'm left with little doubt as to where I would be in pecking order were I to enter into a relationship with her, whilst grand kids are great I would like to get some of the attention.
I can't answer as I don't know for sure, I would say however that as someone who advertises on the net, numbers are everything when it come to deciding which sites to advertise on & how much one is prepared to pay for that ad.
It was also suggested that this may work in reverse, 6 people could have one profile, the article left you to draw your own conclusions as to who these people might be but it would go a long way toward explaining why a member can have perfect English one day & not being able to spell the next, I seem to recall noticing once or twice that this phenomenon could be seen on a single thread at times.
This comes back to a point made earlier in the thread, a good row between members draws a huge crowd of onlookers, they may not post but they check out the thread & therefore see the ads.
I've often thought the same, I joined a non dating site once to have a look at the forums there, I only lasted two weeks, as soon as you made any comment whatsoever the regulars jumped on you, the site had 75,000 members but there were never more than 300 on line I think because of the attitude of the small minority that saw the site as there property, I'm reminded of some small villages in the UK where unless you're family have lived there 400 years you'll always be an outsider.
Two points really, firstly, and this is only what I've read, in addition to member numbers page clicks also now form part of the calculation. Secondly your point about member numbers does rather lend itself to the theory mentioned in the op, in that by banning members numbers would be reduced.
I see you are unable to direct us to these threads, could this be because they don't exist? If you read the op I am asking members for their opinions on something I read on another site, my principles are neither here nor there on this subject. I can not see where your refrigerator fits into this thread.
Perhaps you'd care to back up this statement by guiding us to the thread where I have used impolite language toward you? As for this thread being against the rules I'm sure the mods will remind me of this if this is the case & as far as I'm aware you are not a mod.
A good point & when all's said & done these individuals do give endless entertainment even if at times there is a health risk from high blood pressure.
Reading various threads over the last few weeks I've several times read posts saying things like "Why is this member allowed to stay on site when they have broken the rules endlessly & made remarks to other members clearly designed to cause an argument or insult", well if you believe what is said on several other sites about the CS forum it's because the management put advertising revenue above principles, with each argument comes more page clicks & thus more Dollars, not one for gossip myself (LOL) I wonder if any members believe this to be the case.
Oh bum, I've got a load of gold dust coming from Col. Gaddafi's daughter according the mail I got from her yesterday, trust me to going into the wrong thing again. On the Euro, I would have the most likely scenario would be for the some countries to drop out & leave the stronger ones still using it but I'm no expert on such things.
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but judging from his post earlier his maximum age limit seems to be 25 & judging from your picture you must be around 28, therefore past your sell by date as far as he's concerned.
I agree, however I feel by the comment "Hasn't really done anything "wrong"" that maybe we haven't got the whole story, there must be a reason why she hates him so much.
I've drunk about 10 cups a day for the last 40 years & I'm still here, can't say whether it's affected my mental facilities or not, I am posting on CS which some might say would indicate that it has.
