Now, I wanna' tell you a story my friends!

When I was six years old, my dear, sweet mother - who was a card carrying member of the NRA - gave me a bullet. She explained that that it was a special bullet and that it was given with love.

I'm ashamed to admit that I promptly put it a drawer and forgot about it for several years. Yet 12 years later, when I left for Marine Boot Camp, I took that bullet with me and I carried it faithfully in my pants pocket all throughout my military carreer.

I gave up many things in life, my friends, but I never gave up that bullet! In later years I even took to carrying it in my breast pocket as a constant reminder of my dear sweet mother!

Then one day I was walking down the street of a small Southern town when a crazed and defrauded former Television Evangelist savagely and without thought for public safety threw a Gideon Bible from a speeding Cadillac!!! I didn't even have time to duck before it struck me in the chest, my friends, completely knocking me off my feet!

Now my friends, I want you to know... That bible... Would have gone right through my heart... BUT - It was stopped by that bullet!

As masterful as you are with language (I'm being both facetious and sarcastic - Big words, but I'm sure you can find someone to help you look them up! ) it's no wonder you've reached the conclusions you have.

Unfortunately, it's not really about being "right." It's the "I'm right and anyone who disagrees with me is an un-educated idiot!" mentality that so many find unappealing... THAT is arrogance.

Those who believe in marriage will never quite be able to convince those who don't and vice-versa. Each person must decide for themselves and nothing anyone says will ever change that.

I forgot to mention that we also own several trout (both Browns and Rainbows) and part of a cow, but they "live in the freezer" and we only bring them out one meal at a time...
