I got nailed by yellowjackets in about 8 places yesterday (right hand, right forearm, lower neck, twice on the right shoulder and 3 times on the left shoulder) and I look like Popeye. Sure hope the swelling goes down before the picnic next week!
Oh, and the lovely Jackson just reminded me to tell everyone that - while we're expecting, praying for and even demanding a bright sun-shiny day - if anyone has any board games or card games, etc... that can be set up under a shelter in case of rain, go ahead and toss 'em in the trunk or under the seat just in case!
Right now, I'm not really counting on the guy from Pakistan to show up. I know that Darlynda is bringing a guest and colorgirl09 is bringing her sister and pulling a camper trailer. So if NorseMedic makes it with a guest, that'll bring the total to about 18. 'Course there's still the chance that Zee won't make it, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Check out page one of this thread and hit the sign-up button. Everyone (with the exception of one member and two guests, thus far) is listed. I think you'll bring the total to 15 "definites" with the possibility of a couple more "maybes."
