Glad to see everyone back on here and messaging. lts been a long time since l have seen you Dawn, to bad you left niagara falls before we got to meet each other but you never know, we might just meet someday and as far as getting older, numbers dont mean anything these days, its whats inside and how old we think we are inside..heck 48 here but feel like l am 35 lol Curly nice to see you pop in once in awhile.....
One of the special moments was a few years back when my daughter who is 23 now asked me to go to the mall with her. l was kind of taken back because since l am her mom l would have thought she would have rather gone with her friends, biut no she wanted me. Well there she treated me to lunch and we had a great day of shopping and just talking and laughing at all the crazy people just like us that had braved the cold and winter storm to head to the mall. After all our money was spent she stated that she had one more thing we needed to do...to my surprise we headed to the farthest end of the mall, turned the corner and there he was...SANTA.....l looked at her and she smiled and said...mom l just thought we should get a picture of you and me and santa...its been way to long since we had a pic with him, together...l almost cried when l realized just how much my daughter does love me and still wants to spend time with just me...pic was taken and every year when l get that picture out and think back to that day l realize that even after they say they hate you, they come back and love you more today then they did yesterday...

l have a friend who uses skype and he says it great...he says he uses a regular phone and can still make the calls. When he calls me you wouldnt even know he is using skype. He says its easy to hook up, nothing really to it and he has been using it for 3 years now and wouldnt go back to anything else. l dont need a long distance carrier..have cable here and cable phone so l get all the long distance anywhere in canada and the US included in my cable and phone charges. But it is a great program and one to look into if you have alot of friends that are long distance....treat yourself, its worth the money.
There are alot of scammers on here and also on many other sites. l get alot of emails and messages asking me to add them to my yahoo messenger, the scammers seem to use a yahoo email and have a account on yahoo messenger. l was watching the local news one night and they had a man on there who had met a woman and after chatting with her for a few days he wondered if she was a scammer....he made a website called romancescammer.com. If you think you might have a scammer on the other end of a conversation go check it out and see if the name they use is on there...it helped me out a few times. Had a guy that l had been talking to for 6 months, he had said all kinds of things, knew there was something not right but figured even if he was playing me it was ok because l wasnt buying it anyway...checked his name out and quess what, he was a scammer from Africa just looking for a way to canada. This guy from the news states alot of the scammers are from there and use a site called myspace.com and will say anything they think you want to hear, they ask for money, they say they are sick and have been in the hospital, they have been married and are widows with usually one child and they love you from the moment they saw your pic. Be careful theres alot of these men and woman out there..
Having a very quiet thanksgiving this year. Just me and my daughters, cooking a turkey, making a few pies and watching a movie. Just a down and out totally relaxing weekend.
l am thankful for my parents continued good health and also mine and my daughters. l am thankful that God has shown me that its ok to be alone and that when the right man comes along he will send me a sign to let me know. The last 11 years have been hard, raising my daughters on my own but l now know that life has something instore for me and that it will come soon enough, l just have to be patient and wait.

Happy Thanksgivng to all my fellow CSers....have a great long weekend Spending a quiet Weekend at home with my 2 daughters, having a big dinner with all the trimmings on monday after my oldest gets off work. Maybe rent a movie and pop some popcorn.
l would have to say number 7 for myself also...l tend to get upset not mad, talk about it, maybe walk away for 10 - 15 minutes, think about it and then move on. lf its someone l am in a relationship with l tend to voice my opinion, clear the air and have a few minutes by myself and then come back and wanna make up.
this would be great for a kids birthday party, they could make them and then decorate them, more cake than a cupcake and just think of the fun...thanks for sharing plus l am a cake eater and my kids arent so making a 9x13 cake isnt a good thing for me, cause its just me eating it lol this way l can have cake whenever and not worry about the calories of a whole cake...
summer was a great time for me, moved to a new place, finally have unpacked all the boxes and it feels like a home. Oldest daughter finally figured out that the guy she had been dating for over a year was trying to control her and said good bye. ls now dating a great guy, alot older than she is (she is 23 and he is 39) but its all good. Youngest passed Math after having to take summer school with a 86. Ok and now for me, reconnected with a high school crush and things are going good, finally a man who wants to get to know the real me and likes what he sees. Planning a trip out to BC maybe in the fall or winter to see him and reconnect some more. Learned alot about muself and what l want in life, learned that not all people can be what they state they are and that family and friends are the greatest gift god can give us. Helped a single mom that had nothing move into a place they can call a home and gave them a few things that they needed to make there place a home. lt felt very good to be able to help them after all the help l got when l left my marriage....god provides and all is good.... hoping for a great autumn and winter and plan on having a great time with family and friends.
sunny and warm, suppose to get thunderstorms today and tommorrow. Thats the way it always happens when the kids go back to school, sunny weekdays and rainy weekends... still going to relax and enjoy being home with family.
Hug me tight: l met a man who was in the same kind of relationship with his ex. They lived in the same house but didnt share a bed or room. They were in the same house together for their child. He lived there for 6 months before he finally moved out and got his own place. We met and we were together from that day on but l am sad to say it never worked out. lt had nothing to do with the fact that he lived with his ex. We dated for a year and it was all good. Mine worked out to be what he said it was and l trusted in him and that what he was telling me was true. The only problem l had well he was living there was l could never call him because he didnt want my number on the phone and didnt want his ex to know he was dating someone. He thought that if she knew he was dating me it would do nothing but cause problems for him living there, so we kept it a secret and he would call me when he wanted to reach me. We didnt spend alot of time during that six month span but we talked online and he called at least once a day to check in. All l can say is take the chance if you truly believe that he is separated and only liing there for the sake of his kids...ya never know he might just be that person.....

maybe the men are to embarrassed and dont want to admit they dont know how to kiss us ladies but then maybe they think they know...come on guys show us, maybe you are right and do know how to kiss.....but ya gotta give us a try before we can decide....
never had a complaint here either but agree we do need to teach them...but how to do this is the problem..l think the teaching school is just whats needed...ok guys start signing up Jenny and myself are ready to teach you. How about it gals any other gals wanna help us.
l have kissed quite a few men in my time and there was only one of them that knew how to kiss with passion. Most men dont know how to kiss and a peck here and a peck there is about all they seem to know what to do..whats going on guys dont we women deserve a little more affection that what a chicken would give....
what you have to be real careful about is the ones who are from other countries, looking for a free ride over here.
l am not saying there all like that but have had a few, ok many from those kinds and they start talking to you and all of a suddenthey love you and want to be with you....also be careful of the ones who need your help, a few dollars here and before you know it you are sending them half your pay cheque to help them out...a few of these l have had to, never sent any money but have had them asked...

l agree hollandgirl, not many men really know how to kiss with emotion. lts a peck here and a peck there and there done...what happened to the all out deep kiss, the one that might have ended with some tongue and the soft sensual kiss.... men these days just dont know how to kiss...hey l am more than willing to help you out with this free, no charge kissing school...you definitly will need more than one instructor.
l wanted to say a very heart warmed thank you to both you and Hollandgirl for this forum....l feel touched that so many people actually remeber what canadians have done to help people out, especially at this time when the world is such a terrible place. My father was born and raised in Holland til he was 12 years of age. His parents brought him over to Canada to start a new life and to that l am grateful because l would not be here to see what the world has done for me. My dad often tells stories about the war and how as a child he wandered the streets and would end up at the camps searching for candy. He was given friendship there and then one of the guys would walk him home, to knock on my Oma and Opas door and say heck you shouldnt allow him to come to us....boy was he in trouble lol But during those times as a young boy he knew where to go to get what his parents couldnt give him, money was tight lol what kid doesnt want snoopies...(candy in dutch)
So a Heart felt thank you goes out to you for making me remember part of my dads life...
hey how about a friendly game of mini putt. lf your me, it can be quite the laugh..no aim here so would be alot of fun. Then maybe a walk and a ice cream and talk about the day.
yes there are quite a few of us that found what we call love on here and a few are still in the relationship and have moved to other places to be with that love....a few have found love and then lost it but have also moved on and are making a life with there kids and just looking for friends on here. Not that l have found love on here but have found love on other sites and plus l have lost love too....nothings perfect and as humans we want love and keep picking up the pieces and learn a lesson and move on....love is out there, all we have to do is find it and give it a chance. Good luck on your search...l find that when l am looking for it, it never comes and when l least expect it...oh no there it is.
7:48am here and quite warm already, sun is shining and garbage truck just roared by...lol making a lunch for daughter for work and then driving her and then back home to get youngest daughter up for her last day at summer school, passed with a 92%, so mom is happy. Going to get groceries sometime today and going to enjoy a quiet evening at home with my daughters watching Big Brother 10, checking messages on here and chatting for a bit before bed...... have a great day everyone and chat soon...
