In fairness It is a really good thread and you are spot on. I nearly came close to buying a apartment for €250k a few years ago, I was advised to walk away and I did. It was a lucky escape to say the least for me. I personally would not buy any property till i see the new property tax and water charges to get a better idea of what exactly I would be paying for. My salary like many others has been cut and to be honest. It was tough looking in at the Celtic Tiger and thinking I would never own anything. Things happen for reason and sometimes we don't know why at the time but it becomes clearer as time passes.
As Long as Spurs finish around 5th or higher I am happy. I think the Jury is out on AVB. He wasn't given time at Cheski. Man City it will be a interesting season for them. Man Utd will be hard to beat this year and if they sign RVP (which i think they will )all bets will be off. The Gooners will finish around Mid table with any sort of luck.
To be very honest. I was thinking right through the game, Dublin were awful and if Laois had been a bit more clever they would have neaten the Dubs. I think Mayo could beat the dubs as well. There is a certain cockiness this year in Dublin and I don't really like that. Brogan was awful should have been hauled ashore at half time. Laois had their moments esp with goal chance mid way through the second half.
The ref really favoured the Dubs in the end. Only played 40 seconds of a minutes injury time and there were two subsitutions ?. The poor Laois fan bawling at the end. I felt really sorry for them. My Money is on the winners of tomorrows games to lift the Sam.
The biggest problem for kildare is the slow starts they tend to have. They can't afford to be slow or sloppy against Cork. It will be a very tough match for both sides. Kildare have the momentum and the fitness levels. To beat Cork you need to be switched on for the full 70 minutes not part of it.
The Dubs should beat Laois. Having said that Dublin haven't been as good as they were last year. I think Mayo will edge out Down. Donegal and Kerry will be a cliffhanger. I think it will be won in the last ten mins of that game.
The short answer is no. I would never ask anyone out in work no matter how tempted I may be. Having said that some people met and got married in my workplace.
Liam Haye's would be a interesting appointment. I have a suspicion that Colm O'Rourke may want the job. Meath need to a massive overhaul all over the place and the first place is start is at County Board level.
RE: Everything Premier League related
Whooohoooo Delighted with the Spurs win today. Long time coming.
