the op does make a valid point ,Here is another point if he could heal all the sick people why did he only heal a few ?? If a doctor did that every one would call him an a hole
(I have heard this pointed out recently) Lets face it allegedly he was the son of god who allegedly created the universe , can you really say he lived up to his potential ??? What miracles did he do ?? Walk on water pfftttttttt pen and teller can do that , heal the sick ?? There are charlatans like benny hinn that can make people believe they can do that . So really all he ever did was a bunch of parlour tricks , this from the man who’s father supposedly created the universe and everything in it , isn’t that pretty much like the son of the head of Pfizer working the register at mac Donald’s ????? who in their right mind would follow him ?? O that’s right 12 guy’s did , 12 !!!! Are you freaking kidding me the havens gate suicide cult guy had more followers and he manage to get most of them to chop off their nuts
Firstly atheism is not a state of hopelessness (fell free to explain if you disagree)
Morals and the law's of science have nothing to do with each other
I am going to explain to you very simply so there is no misunderstanding , you do not get your morals from the bible , what you do is align your self with the ones you find morally acceptable and then find a way of explaining away / ignoring the rest . Morals come from a number of places both social and evolution
Statistically mine is higher than yours (I tested high), statistically atheists have a higher IQ that theists , maybe you need to think about that
Firstly that is false many of us on this forum have done our own independent study , secondly "They are just following the herd."Describes you to a T ,
You’re the one that resorts to personal insults and name calling when in doesn’t go your own way
Nope that is a common definition Atheism is simply with out theism
you can play around with words alot the bottom line is the big relgions all have claims that can be diproven
on a second note "If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time."
it requires no faith what so ever to be an atheist , in fact the word atheist should net even exist after all we don’t have a name for people that don’t believe that Elvis was abducted by aliens
I love the way theists all way resort to this “they /you don’t understand” here is a thought if it is the word of god / inspired by (what ever you like to call it) you would think that it would be the most perfectly written piece of literature on the planet wouldn’t you ????
Was jesus an underachiever ???
what can i say i was board and thought it was an intresting point
