"God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

There are a number of things wrong with that statement 1. We are currently primates , 2. At some point we branched off from other’s into primate’s 3 no one is saying just because we took along time to evolve we must of evolved from earlier primates dna and the fossil record proves we did
We have dna and a fossil record that is over 98% complete the days of looking for a missing link are well and truly over, evolution is fact and has been proven
no it comes down to evedience
Respecting peoples idiotic beliefs just because you stamp religion on it is all well and good in theory the problem is that while a lot of moderates are harmless the “respect” allows shelter for the extremists that like to fly plains into buildings
"If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time."
Actually while heat can get a watch going (it really has to be barley stooped due to a low battery) there are 2 way these stunts are usually pulled off , you have A. Stooges (a hand full of people can jam a tv stations switch board pretty easily) and/or you rely on B. the attention seeking fruit cake factor (there are all ways people that want to ring in and say tit happened to them)
And geller was actually more famous for the spoon bending on to of the tv
As for mass hypnosis over a tv it’s pretty easy , not as affective as one on one but it does work, although under the English legislation I do believe it is banned
