Well the pay is not too bad and the work is rewarding but you would have a few years of collage before they would let you near the kids , you do realise that you will have to bite your tong when it comes to your opinions about the RCC unless you end up in an educate together school .
Letter to Eric Gutkind (partial) Albert Einstein (1954) May 16, 2008. Letter sold at auction for $404,000.00 Translated here from the German by Joan Stambaugh
... The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. These subtilized interpretations are highly manifold according to their nature and have almost nothing to do with the original text. For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything "chosen" about them.
In general I find it painful that you claim a privileged position and try to defend it by two walls of pride, an external one as a man and an internal one as a Jew. As a man you claim, so to speak, a dispensation from causality otherwise accepted; as a Jew the privilege of monotheism. But a limited causality is no longer a causality at all, as our wonderful Spinoza recognized with all incision, probably as the first one. And the animistic interpretations of the religions of nature are in principle not annulled by monopolization. With such walls we can only attain a certain self-deception, but our moral efforts are not furthered by them. On the contrary.
Now that I have quite openly stated our differences in intellectual convictions it is still clear to me that we are quite close to each other in essential things, ie in our evaluations of human behavior. What separates us are only intellectual "props" and "rationalization" in Freud's language. Therefore I think that we would understand each other quite well if we talked about concrete things.
There is only one reality , something is either real or it is not , there are many reason why people claim to have had the experiences you mentioned none of which involve a supernatural occurence
Jesus was a fictional character grow up and stop living in la la land , and if your going to say that jesus explains this or that then at least have the courtesy to quote chapter and verse
That is absurd unlike you I am a person of reason , of course if you introduced me to him I would believe he exists , but the fact of the matter is you cant , because the “him” you talk of does not exist and you do not have a single shred of credible evidence to say otherwise
(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
(Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB)
If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.
I have remained calm just because you say I have not does not make it so , You said I took something out of context I asked you to put it in context , whats not rational about that
Apparently not if the conversation does not go your way
That would be an observation not name calling , name calling is something on the lines of referring to someone as “nasty little man”
