Mike you clearly do not under stand the bible stop making excuses , if you dont think that the bible promotes murder and genocide you have not read it , one day maybe you will leave your ignorence behiend but i doubt it ,
My argument may be old but so is what it argues against , it was right when it was first used and it is right now ,
It takes a leap of stupidity to believe in religion , but lets just for a moment say it takes a leap of faith to believe in god , which god is it ??? It takes a leap of faith/gullibility to believe in them all
Nope it was one of bushes claims , admittedly he did not sat he used a hairdryer but I fail to see how its exclusion makes the claim any less ludicrous
Ok people this is the official 50 book challenge thread
The challenge officially starts on this date ==> 17: November 2008 (although you can join in any time you like)
Rules
1. Read 50 books in one year (or you can pick a number of books that suit’s your self just declare the number of books on this thread )
That’s really the only rule
Once you read a book post it and it’s number (ie , book 12 catcher in the rye) in this thread with a brief description (ie what’s written on the cover ) and let us know what you thought of it ( please no spoilers)
You can read any book you want although I would encourage you to try and include some books that challenge you,
Ok here is what I propose , a standard 50 book challenge , for those of you that don’t know a 50 book challenge is a common enough thing, the basics are you set your self a goal of reading 50 books in a year (if you think 50 is way too high for you ,you can always set a lower number for your self) We could start on Monday , you keep a list of what you have read and post it every time you add a book (I will start a thread for it on Monday) with a few words about what you thought about your latest read (no spoilers )
I am not sure if there will be many people interested in this
I going to have to agree with you b the op has a number of very very very basic flaws that show an extreme lack of knowledge about biology ( I would have to check the curriculum but I am pretty sure a high school biology student would be able to pick it apart)
Ireland is one of the most secular societies in Europe and we are one of the most charitable , I know many atheist’s that work in charitable originations that have some religious afflation (not just in Ireland ) they do this because the structure for helping people is already there , How do you know that you where never helped by an atheist ???
RE: MIRACLES OF THE QUR'AN
O please do put them in context then put them in a context that where mass murder is ok
