RE: God vs. Science

As i said mike "there is a reason why multiple methods are used" do YOUR research that means looking at something other than creationist propaganda ,

Now are you going to put forward your evidence for creation ???

RE: God vs. Science

i know i spelt it wrong again but spell check is having a bad dayroll eyes

RE: God vs. Science

Mike don’t be a sheep all your life , you have been spending too much time in detonating your self with creationist propaganda , the fossil record has not failed to prove evolution as for carbon dating there is a reason why multiple methods are used , if you did your research properly you would be aware of this , if you are so certain that there is evidence for creation then present it or shut up

Does anyone believe

Yet you still seek to interact with me confused

Promises promise you have said that before roll eyes

in the celestial teapot ????

"If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time."

RE: God vs. Science

It’s something like a billion to one , now there are about a billion billion planets in the universe (that is a very conservative estimate) which means that there may be a billion other planets capable of sustaining life ,

By your logic Mike because the chances of winning the lottery are so small no one ever wins it , however we know people do win it ,

Just think of earth as having won the lottery

RE: God vs. Science

My dear you did not upset me , you think far too much of your self roll eyes

RE: God vs. Science

The conflict between religion and science is inherent and (very nearly) zero-sum. The success of science often comes at the expense of religious dogma; the maintenance of religious dogma always comes at the expense of science. It is time we conceded a basic fact of human discourse: either a person has good reasons for what he believes, or he does not. When a person has good reasons, his beliefs contribute to our growing understanding of the world. We need not distinguish between "hard" and "soft" science here, or between science and other evidence-based disciplines like history. There happen to be very good reasons to believe that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Consequently, the idea that the Egyptians actually did it lacks credibility. Every sane human being recognizes that to rely merely upon "faith" to decide specific questions of historical fact would be both idiotic and grotesque — that is, until the conversation turns to the origin of books like the bible and the Koran, to the resurrection of Jesus, to Muhammad's conversation with the angel Gabriel, or to any of the other hallowed travesties that still crowd the altar of human ignorance.

RE: God vs. Science

No how ever i will appose anything that is blatantly wrong scold

RE: God vs. Science

No they are not , there is no point in you pretending otherwise scold

RE: God vs. Science

Based on the scientific evidence the big bang theory is probable , intelligent design however is not , in fact it is highly improbable professor

scientific information is not dead ends scold

RE: God vs. Science

The big bang theory is the most probable solution for the question of how our universe was formed , it’s a very long and complicated theory I will see if I can find an online documentary for you

RE: God vs. Science

Ok dusty let's make this a little bit clearer state what you think we have no proof of any scientific knowledge, for sure.

RE: God vs. Science

That is an out and out lie , we do know a lot for sure and what we claim as probabilities are backed up by science , which is a hell of a lot more than you can claimscold

RE: God vs. Science
