In my opinion when you stood up it might of appeared confrontational. And you responding by kicking him in the mouth can't have helped the situation. I know he tried to punch you in the face, However if you as good at martial arts as you claim you could have deflected the blow and walked away. So in my eyes your equally to blame.

There's no such thing as bad seed, only trouble children .The more people tell them they are bad. they will think their bad they need support not criticism. Can you imagine people constantly telling you your bad, that you start to believe it.
