Sitting out the back of my house, listening to a local game of league which is being played axross tye road, there is alot of shouting and screeming happening... not alot of fun. Roll on full time.!!
I personally dislike Pay TV, my kids spend enough time infront of DSI's, computers so i don't want them watching tv 24/7. Free tv is great, hope it stays. Otherwise we will be tv free... might get out the deck of cards and board games now...
Back in the day, you felt safe walking at night, a party didn't involve knives or broken glass, fights didn't happen often and most people were happy go lucky in life.. I miss all that.
I remember reading about a woman who was burnt and 80% of her body was scarred..... she decided to tattoo over the scars, it looked alot better than scarred skin...guess some people do it for reasons we don't know about.
I like Tatts... if they are well done, i have one tatt, which i Love, as it represents two special people in my life. But i wont ever get another...it hurts too much..
I am not talking about being busy in whatever you do. But the "work for the dole" thing is like answering the phone twice a day the have coffee and have a chat, etc. A waste of time. I'd hate a workplace where I am not flat out because I would be checking the time all the time.
Just wanted to say i did the 'work for the dole' about 5yrs ago and i found it great.... i learn't soo much, there was no sitting around chit chatting, we worked like it was a real paying job, had 2 breaks etc..., i was going to follow that career, but unfortunatly that type of work required weekend work, which i couldn't do at that tim. Now days i volenteer on my days off, my way of helping. SO the 'Work for the dole' can work for those people who accually want to learn, But as you all have said, there are some who just don't want to.
