I'm afraid you didn't get my point BC, I was talking about double standards in a simple thing as reading a post... People prefer to read it in their own way depending if they like the poster or not... Most are native speakers which makes the intentional misreading even funnier...
Does it matter what I am going to replace the word "demand" with...?! I said what I think, no need to dig in a place where there's nothing hidden to be found...
Often people don't read properly the posts and that's why they get confused... I often see some forumer's posts taken in the completely opposite way, even agreeing with something that was actually meant to mock you... But after all the obvious part is that agreement if often with people one likes or fancies, which could be quite funny sometimes... It's not about the "engineers" but the minds that see the world in a different way...
There's nothing embarrassing about being on the forums for a long time.. People are here for different reasons, socialising, throwing tantrums, be know it all, attention seeking, therapy... You name it we have it...
Compared to some I'm still a newbie, only six years...
I have noticed quite the opposite the last few years...people getting more aware of how their bodies can speak about a problem and they can start dealing with in a early stage... But unfortunately the age has been going down for some serious problems which are very often dismissed because they are not expected to occur at that early stage of life...
Thyroid problems are the most common cause of total hormonal disbalance as once the thyroid stops functioning properly it disturbs the other hormones in no time... Many lose weight but some gain, and it can be sorted without medications...
I didn't not include the medical cases, pregnancies and such in my post as I believe every normal person would make a difference to the obesity caused by overeating ... I deal with people who are or have been through those illnesses every day at work Dee, I know what I am talking about...
Yes Dee, my work is very specific and can not be done by whoever...I thought of hiring someone to work for me, doing less complicated treatments, but my clients insist on being treated by me... I'd like my partner to feel the same towards his work and interests, the rest of the tasks we can share in a healthy, balanced way...
I'm doing it all by myself, it isn't easy for sure but I love what I do and that helps a lot... Even if I had a partner I would be happy to juggle with all three, but definitely find more time to relax and enjoy time off work too...which is rare now...
RE: Tilted Heads
I have that problem and trying very hard not to tilt my head but turn it slightly on one side...especially looking at someone/something close to me...
