Well, there are plenty of "good" families where parents are actually bad, you know the song "Too much love will kill you"... The very "friendly", liberal parent is losing the plot very quickly and instead of a respectful figure they turn into someone who would feed his child too much chocolate to make them get sick of it when actually they create fat addicts with eating disorder. A good parent doesn't always come from a good family...
And I agree with Redex, once we start turning the exception into a rule, and leave the minority take over the majority, then we will go downhill and fast...
Darkness is deep, it holds mystery, a bit of uncertainty, a little fear... It attracts, it seduces... I'd like a bit of darkness lurking in the sunny bush...
