Thank you Miwagi, you are too kind... Born and bred Bulgarian... You should hear my Italian accent English... I have the bad habit of copying the person I speak to, absolutely unconsciously ... Had some very funny experience abroad...
Unless there's something you can not see anywhere else, they all look the same after a while... For example Dubai and the Emirates in general are a big hot air balloon (lived there several years)...perfect for magpie type of people who like shiny stuff but it bloody stinks underneath the "gold"... May be Iran and Pakistan (been there several times each) were way more interesting because of the dangerous and raw places I went too out of pure curiosity (on a side of the official business places)... And the Himalayas, but it is a pure feeling of insignificance that makes it majestic, nothing else...
You are lucky... But I always have a depression when I return home. If I was a magician I would travel endless:)) So what country surprised you the most and why?:)
To be honest I don't recall being even slightly surprised by any country, my expectations have been more often lowered than exceeded...
It took me a month to get used to it... It was funny cause I couldn't understand a word and they were asking me if I spoke English, I was like "I surely do love, but do you..."
Of course I understand accepting the little flaws but won't being loved and accepted by the other person make you want to change your ugly sides instead of expecting to remain the same. It isn't fair towards the one who loves you... That's all...
I thought one wants to be a better person when they are in love, but I might be wrong... Never mind... Love is a lot of things, different for everyone...
Without exaggeration, every second Irish person I've met in my life haven't waited long in a conversation before throwing some insults against the English... Same with Scottish, even in front of (ex) my English partner and my son...
