Thanks for the welcome back, crazyblondeone. Since you had a headache, you may have missed that I'm only back here to reconnect with old friends and for socialization. Yes, I know this is a dating site, but not looking for anyone "special" atm. The "out with the old" part has to be gradual for me, as well. May eventually get new pics, just not right now.

Hi, Ooby. I remember you! If you're talking about the white hen, she was a Japanese Black-Tailed White. Lost her to a predator several years ago. Have her grand-daughter now, but she's a mix and solid white. The Two JBTW's I had were WILD! Had 7 RIR's for awhile, but they were too destructive to the garden and flowers, so got rid of them. Mostly have OEGB's and bantam mixes. I need to post pics of my current flock, I guess. After this year's hatches, I think I have about 30 total, with FAR too many young roo's (of course!).

Another puppy pic, I LOVE it! Schnauzer person here, who also owns a Chihuahua, a cat, 3 miniature goats, 3 Dutch rabbits, a Leopard Gecko, and more chickens than I have counted lately! Up to my ears in critters here (maybe Noah was my hero in a former life! Ha!) Nice to meet you, Kennn!

Thank you, Abuarab! Alas, I am as much to blame for the failure of my marriage as anyone but had hoped he would be willing to work toward healing our marriage. Without God's help so far in this breakup, I would not have as much peace as I do have. God will see me through it, I know! Your prayers and well-wishes are MUCH appreciated!

Been a long, long time since I was here last. I had met (and married) the man of my dreams here, the man I thought was my soulmate. That was 7 years ago. We have now parted ways and he is wanting a divorce, so I'm back. If this sounds kinda pitiful, my apologies, and I'm just back to reconnect with old friends and hopefully meet some new friends.

Guess I should mention that my profile pic is about 10 years old now, but I don't have any more recent ones to post!

Oh, Sady, so delightfully happy for you and yours!!! Met my hubby on CS in Jan. '07, and we've been happily married since 8/15/07!!! We don't appear here much lately, but we credit CS ENTIRELY for meeting one another!!! And we know a few couples who have met and connected here, so thumbs up and a huge toast to CS for all it has offered and accomplished!!

Oh, what an incredibly gracious and lovely soul was Bajan. She had an unconquerable spirit and a joi de vive that most fail to ever achieve in life. I was proud to call her a friend and am devastated to get the news despite fearing it for a long while.

Has Everybody Seen the "Event" Thread for 8/16/2008 ?

To clear up any confusion here, this thread was started for an event that took place TWO YEARS AGO!

Guess I'd forgotten that people sometimes don't check the posting date (which contains the year).

So, HUGE apologies to those who've joined the Tenn. forums recently!

Here's hoping that you (like me and my hubby, as well as others) find your "missing half" here on CS!!

We enjoyed meeting you on Saturday as well, Judy! Yes, we kept telling John he needed to check out CS, but I honestly believe that the two of you would have met somewhere, somehow even if neither of you had been on CS. Remember, Don and I lived nearly a thousand miles apart and found one another!

Am looking forward to more good times with you two; after all, we are all of the "same clan"! Digging potatoes is probably appropriate, don't you think? (Perhaps we should suggest to the CS Mods that a character wearing a kilt would be an appropriate emoticon?? Ha!)

You'll never know how happy we are for the two of you. After all, we understand the magic as well as anyone can!
