Mine says 18-99 and it's not because I'm looking for anyone 18 or 99. It's so that I don't automatically block anyone from being able to contact me. I'm not looking at all, for anyone of any age, just here for the conversation.
10 days is one thing, but I couldn't let it go to a full two weeks. It's not the Canadian forums where we're used to nothing happening for months at a time.
There are five people dead in Quebec where two men with guns stormed a mosque and opened fire during the evening prayer. The two are in custody and no word on motive or much else at the moment, other than there were others injured.
Looks like the hate is spreading to Canada as well.
One has a slightly better grasp of the English language, so it would be very surprising.
US intelligence apparently has a program where one person can control up to 10 different profiles simultaneously to save on manpower and resources. This way they can have one person wreaking havoc on multiple dating sites all at once. How clever are they!
Could be, it wouldn't surprise me at all, and it happens more often than most would suspect. Israel has been at it for years, spreading propaganda on all sorts forums to either change people's views, or just to troll the ones they can't change. I have no doubt the Republican's are doing the same, and why not here too, after all there's a forum.
I just had this discussion with someone here not that long ago, and I have made mention of it the forums a looong while back.
I think it should be part of the school curriculum in the junior high level, seeing as it's a part of our history as Canadians. I've known about since a fairly young age, but it wasn't until just under a decade ago that I actually visited any of the sites of the camps.
My brother owned a couple properties in Slocan that were once part of the camps there, just over an hour from me, he still has one. In walking the property you could see where the Japanese had planted fruit trees, and also rough outlines of where some buildings had once stood. There were broken bits of ink bottles that came out of the ground every spring from the frost, and if one did some digging, there would be a lot more as well.
It's a sad fact, and one that should be better known in Canada, and hopefully one never repeated. There's a place in New Denver that serves as a reminder that people should visit if they're ever in the area. There's one in Burnaby as well, but never knew about that until recently. Another thing most don't know, David Suzuki was interned in Slocan as a child along with his family.
Yep, I posted about that earlier in the week when CS decided to start "hiding" things on us. Not like it isn't difficult enough to post in here at times already
One should never forget Ziggy B and Killinger, they played a role in many presidencies, influencing foreign relations and planning strategies. There's some really good pics of Zig with Osama back in the day, when they were both young men. Back when the White House and all the terrorists were such good friends.
I've seen some of it, being that I've traveled all across the southern US from Mississippi west, and been to a few of those states more than once. I also have a brother that works in the medical field in Cali. and he sees the "damage" on a daily basis, so I also hear what goes on as well.
There's been gov't involvement in the trade since the 60's, between heroin and coke at a minimum, and likely the rest as well. If they wanted those cartels out of business, if the "war on drugs" was real, it would have ended a long time ago. Simple fact that it hasn't is, because it's far too lucrative.
Besides, how else would the CIA fund all those covert actions and overthrow gov'ts around the world? Do you think Congress would give them all that money, they'd have to be accountable.
The drugs are coming from all over, not just Mexico, and the weapons are actually going south of the border, not north. Not to mention all of the American involvement in the drug trade, including the CIA. Guess who invented crack, and now has control of the opium fields in Afghanistan. Solely blaming the Mexicans for the drug problem is far from accurate. They've just become a convenient scapegoat here, politically, and on the forums apparently. It's a much bigger issue than what you're making it out to be.
