If you don't believe it, just look at what the RC's have been up to, and got away with over the last few years. A flood in High River ended up with them kicking in the doors of a number of homes and stealing firearms, and yet there are no charges being brought forth. They're allowed to do whatever they want, and get away with it, regardless of whether it's illegal or not.
There is no "this or that" in my opinion, they're both great in their own ways. I have one dog and two cats, and I wouldn't give them up for the world, I have no "preference".
Look up the ongoing protests in Japan, that have been going on for decades. Look up what's been going on in Iraq, from sites outside of the US, as well as any other of the 130 ish countries that the US has bases in. You're not told anything about that through your media.
Actually, most of what he says can be backed up by credible sources, if one wants to look for the info, which takes time. I'm not into conspiracy theories for the most part, but I have researched a number of them, and I can honestly say what I've found, is frightening. I will admit there are gaps in coming to concrete conclusions, but the evidence is compelling in the involvement of the last half a dozen presidential administrations of major collusion to misinform and delude the people of the US, as well as conduct clandestine operations without any accountability.
Pretty much, and I do find the illusion of right/left rather humourous, and also seriously sinister. Both "sides" serve corporate interests, and usually the same ones, not the people they've been "elected' to represent.
This tribal warfare you've been participating in should end, you should all unite and get rid of the corruption in the capital. It's run it's course, and should be ousted, and replaced with decent human beings. It's not too late, but maybe in another 4, or maybe 8 years it might be.

I met him when I was a little kid, living in Toronto.
Never met Lemmy, but my brother and a few friends did after their concert here in Edmonton a few years ago. They went to a bar after the show, and in walks Lemmy, so they had drinks with him while playing pool. He was a genuine, decent person, and apparently a fairly good pool player. I was supposed to meet them at the bar, but stayed home instead.
Me too, all too often I either forget, or just skip meals thinking i can always eat later. I rarely ever eat breakfast anymore, just get up and go, having a cu of coffee and a cigarette to start my day.
I think the biggest problem is cooking for one. Last winter I had three of us in my house, and it was easy to cook for everyone, knowing whatever I made wouldn't go to waste. I can cook, and reasonably well, so it's not a matter of not having decent food, it's now just a matter of not wanting to see things go to waste, or making crap meals just to fill the hole, which is never really good in any sense.
Still, my dog and my two cats eat VERY well, and get all sorts of treats when they're behaving and learning, so it's not like I've lost the "spirit" of eating.
I have posted videos on threads as well, for the illiterate, and those that have difficulty with the English language. Anybody interested should have access to all the information available, and should view it. Maybe then there can be reasonable debate on the topic(s) at hand.

As for the notion by the "member" from Ohio that others get people banned. It has been stated many times by the Moderators on the site, that it's an individual that gets themselves banned, not anyone else.

Just because someone doesn't agree with you, or the extremist right wing agenda, doesn't make them a terrorist or a supporter. Questioning the position of the right wingers, or left for that matter, doesn't make one a terrorist either. You calling people terrorists and supporters shows that you will sink to any low level necessary to further your agenda of hate and fear mongering. It also shows that you have no shame, and are indeed immoral.
How can you say that you don't support killing, yet support the extreme right wing views of carpet bombing Syria. That will obviously kill innocent civilians in the process, which has already been happening in the air strikes. Or is ok, seeing as their just Muslims in a foreign country?

I don't think she's capable of seeing the bigger picture, the reality of it all, the costs, lives lost/ruined, etc.. Being consumed by fear and hate is exactly what the far right and the terrorists want, and they're getting it. Bravo, the corporate media brainwashing has had the desired effect on her, and as she claims, the "majority" of Americans. I somehow doubt that though, there are many Americans that don't buy the BS, and many of the links and vid's I've posted attest to that. There are intelligent Americans that don't agree with her, so I guess that would make them terrorists, according to her ummm, logic. Sad that she doesn't have the brain capacity to see the err in her ways, or the spine to let others speak. After all, censorship is truly un-American, curtailing one's free speech goes against what everyone should stand for.
I'm good, thanks. Not sure if I should name anyone specifically, but there's been a few that haven't been around for years popping up. There's a few others I'd like to see pop on too...who knows, maybe in the new year they will.

So, that's your daughters and their friends, not everyone thinks the same way, thankfully. You never know if there's one in the crowd that doesn't actually feel that way, but is just agreeing so she's not the odd one out.
If two people are happy with each other, regardless of their age, race, colour, gender, whatever, it's all good as far as I'm concerned.
I don't see any reason for others to poo poo all over it because it somehow offends them.
Go ahead, ask all the 20 some odd year olds on here what they think. It's a tiny fraction of the overall membership of the site, and an even smaller part of the overall population of any country, let alone the World.
