I wouldn't worry about what other say, it usually stems from envy or jealousy, and usually from people who can't find anyone of any age that is interested in them.
Ask him, not anyone else. All you'll get here is biased opinions from other people's own personal experiences, which will only serve to confuse you even further.

If you're not happy with the way things are, then the only thing you can do is remove yourself from the situation. No point in trying to force him to into something he's not willing to do. You're obviously fully aware of what he is thinking/doing. If you're happy with the way things are, then continue.
I don't spend a lot of time here anymore, just have a peek every few days, or weeks, to see what's going on. I have to say, it's a bit sad, compared to the way it used to be, but I'm glad to see a few of the "old timers" come back to "debate" and whatever it is that they do.
I'd like to be able to write a few of them, just to say hello, but it seems the political divide is a little too much to get over some days. Life and liberty over profits and control isn't much of a debate, but for some it apparently is.

I seriously hope that your Rep's come up with a civilised candidate, otherwise I fear we're heading for WWIII. They all talk the talk, but I'm worried that if elected, one of those lunatics will walk the walk.
I'm not sure whether to take any of them seriously or not, but if the crap they've been spewing is for real, then even I would vote for Hilary. She's scary enough on her own, but with the legion of loons she has behind her, I don't know if it would be any different than the Rep's.

If we're talking off road, then a late model Unimog, or maybe something from Steyr. They both make small, efficient and dependable off road vehicles, but the cost is a little prohibitive.

Hmmm, late 20's Cadillac, Duesenberg, or maybe mid 50's Cadillac, something the size of a small living room on wheels. After all, it's supposed to be luxurious.
Dunno, not really into luxury cars, even though I've had quite a few. I prefer something more performance oriented for fun, something uber economical for a daily driver, and higher HP diesel for a truck, which I use for work and for hauling.
Sadly, I've lowered my standards to an all time low, I'm driving a Dodge minivan for a winter beater. I still have my diesel F-350 4x4 on the road as well, but I don't want some numpty crashing into it in traffic on the icy streets.

Same for the Bush family in the US, and many other right wing fanatics in politics across the Globe. Why do people elect them, even for more than one term?
I'm so glad that it's finally happening, and makes me wonder why the "Harper Government" did absolutely nothing, even though they spent more than ALL the Liberal governments have in the last 50 years combined, leaving us further in the hole than ever? What is it with far right wing Christians pushing their own agenda above those that they were elected to represent?
There were other witnesses that saw three white men as well, and even if it were two men and a woman, where's the third person?
After doing a lot more reading and watching videos of the scene as well as all the "stuff" the media is pumping out...I doubt the official story, and I'm not into conspiracy theories.
They're worth having a look at, even if you have to make time. It's not anything new, just presented in a different way. Some might not like what the videos or links suggest, but they're usually the ones that still believe their government actually works for them, and has their best interests at heart.
