More of a state of being than a meed, but warm (ish), and dry (ish). Had to go shovel the snow before it got to be too much.
Petey seems to like it though, he was jumping around and doing pirouettes, while he was supposed to be peeing and what not. Anyway, he's gnawing on a deer antler now, leaving the cats alone, so I'm happy....and the cats are too.
I don't feel any pity for her, or anyone else like her, they have the opportunity to educate themselves, as we all do. I do find it sad that they choose not to, but that's their choice.
As for the vid, I can't see it, the same for the vid's I post on here myself.
That's what someone has said to me repeatedly, we have four distinct seasons, at least in BC anyway. I have to admit, the weather there is a helluva lot better than east of the Rockies, and one can be outdoors every day, regardless of what it's like.
Dave's good, he has a clean garage and stuff to do, and can see things being a bit better than they were last winter. It's tough living here, but even harder for those that have difficulties over and beyond the "norm".
Dave and I discussed this earlier, it's not easy living here for half the year, but the other half almost makes up for it. When we get 20 hours of sunshine, with glorious heat, it's a nice country to live in.
Slotted, which is what many women have destroyed butter knives with, and is also known as a flat head, straight screw, and should have been banned at the turn of the last century, world wide.
Phillips, which is also called a star head, and also should have been banned many decades ago, especially in Canada.
Posi-drive, which is much like a Phillips, but has for smaller additional points, which GM and the Brits used on their vehicles, and also should have been banned for use in Canada.
Robertson, which has been called "square recess" in the US, due to patent laws, and is a Canadian invention, which is a square shape. It comes in sizes from #0 to #4, the most common being #2, and has been around for over 100 years.
Torx, which is a 6 sided head, with recesses in between each side, which ha also been used by auto manufacturers, and if memory serves correct, introduced by GM into the automotive market.
Allen, or a simple hex, which has been used by almost everyone for anything from set screws to Ikea furniture, but isn't commonly associated with a "screwdriver", but I have quite a few on "driver" handles.
There are also lesser know variants, like clutch, "tamper proof" in many profiles, and others I won't bore you with, but just figured I'd mention that they in fact exist.
Hmmm, a question...
Do you still strive to learn, educate yourself, and if so, do it because you want to, not because it's required?
“Al Qaeda and the Al Qaeda affiliated organizations, including the Islamic State, are not independent organizations, they are sponsored, and they are sponsored by the United States and its allies. It is documented that prior to 2011, there was a process of recruitment of mujahideen to fight in Syria, and this was coordinated by NATO and the Turkish high command. This report is confirmed by Israeli news sources and unequivocally, we are dealing with a state-sponsorship of terrorism, the recruitment of mercenaries, the training and the financing of terrorism.” – Dr. Michel Choissudovsky.
“The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, and any informed intelligence officer knows this. But, there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an intensified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive TV watchers to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the United States.” – Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook.
“We are dealing with a criminal undertaking at a global level … and there is an ongoing war, it is led by the United States, it may be carried out by a number of proxy countries, which are obeying orders from Washington …The global war on terrorism is a US undertaking, which is fake, it’s based on fake premises. It tells us that somehow America and the Western world are going after a fictitious enemy, the Islamic state, when in fact the Islamic state is fully supported and financed by the Western military alliance and America’s allies in the Persian Gulf. …They say Muslims are terrorists, but it just so happens that terrorists are made in America. They’re not the product of Muslim society, and that should be abundantly clear to everyone on this floor. …The global war on terrorism is a fabrication, a big lie and a crime against humanity.” – Dr. Michel Choissudovsky, Canadian Economist & Ottawa’s Professor of Economics.
The quote above comes from prominent author and Canadian economist Dr. Michel Choissudovsky, who is the University of Ottawa’s Emeritus Professor of Economics, spoken at the International Conference on the New World Order, which was organized and sponsored by the Perdana Global Peace Foundation.
People seem to have forgotten about Algeria, but I guess that's in the past, so it doesn't matter. Doesn't justify anything, but it does make one wonder.
Sadly, that is the case everywhere around the globe. Over the last two decades I've found myself voting for the ones I hope will do the least damage to my country. Sometimes it works out, more often it doesn't.
That's one of the few, if not only messages from a spiritual leader I can agree with.
It's not the onset of WWIII, hardly, which makes me question the sensationalism of this thread, and some of the content within.
I doubt anyone in any country wants to see the end of the world, even though some numpties have been pushing for it (religious fanatics from all the major brands). I just hope people are smart enough to choose their leaders well, and keep the loonies out of office, everywhere.
